I am starting to doubt its Pedro. Pedro would be the choice for 90%+ of players. I think it's going to be Rollie or SDS will troll us and give us 99 big sexy Colon. I think SDS will make Pedro with guys like Mantle, Ruth, Griffey Jr to make it hard for us to pick one.
After the silhouette that resemble Ruth's face and stance and it ended up being Brett. I doubt we get Pedro.

That stamina isn't Rollie...Rollie started 37 games in his career.

Or SDS wants the community to use Pedro, so they release him with two Nice Niche Bosses for people who like Brett and Kemp. They probably can’t give Pedro his own inning like Griffey, so this is sort of their way of doing it.

I get that Kemp isn't so great but George Brett was a stud. Why wouldn't he make people's teams? Also, why do so many people use 1 team? My goal is to collect everything and vary my rosters against my friends who do the same. Otherwise we all just use the same people: Degrom, Vlad, Acuna, Turner, Jackie etc etc.

That said, I love Pedro and do hope he gets a 99 soon. His 94 Expos card is awesome, but a 99 Cy Young award or Signature card would be dope.

Bret Saberhagen was a All star for the Royals and the Mets and won a Cy Young. So it could be Pedro, Saberhagen, Rollie Fingers, Scherrzer or Greinke

Pedro would keep hitters off balance. One of the best change ups in the history of the game. His stuff was overwhelming. Everything pitch had a lot movement.
