Time to hear about his fiber internet, ping, and warping pitch speeds. Is there anything else I’m missing.
Well he used to play baseball at a high level and he was considering showing us one of his baseball cards but he thinks we are too toxic to know who he is.

I'm still waiting to see what states in team names have to do with connection speeds.
He's assuming that it represents where they're located, and I'm willing to bet a lot of the time it does. His reasonable hypothesis is the peer to peer connection is typically worse as the distance between the two players increases.
Ok. I've seen him talk about dedicated servers. But if dedicated servers are on one side of the US and a player is on the other side; would that still be a connection issues?
There are no dedicated servers in this game. It’s all P2P as far as game play is concerned.

Dude, what? Lmao. P2P is almost obsolete in videogames. Most games are on dedicated servers. MLB The Show is no exception. Games are hosted via Amazon Web Services.

Anther year, another string of complaint threads by d_e_m_i_s_e, where he threatens to move on or stop buying the game but never really does.

Don't be mad at me because you are emphatically wrong. It's not 2013 anymore, kid. Most games are on dedicated servers. Sorry you cant accept that because it takes away an excuse for you to use when things aren't going your way.

Just curious? If they are using dedicated servers, how come there is menu lag prior to entering the game? One way people use to 'Home Hunt'.

They would use dedicated servers for some things, such as your team. Unsure how the poster knows they use servers for online game play. Although that would explain why when i play between 8am-noon UKT i never have laggy games

This seems like the pot calling the kettle black here. Aren't you usually complaining about some combination of moments and/or showdowns? Pretty sure most of the normal users here have their schtick at this point lol
You’re right. I haven’t complained about doing showdowns in a couple of days. I guess I’m slacking.

You're right. Wired fiber in the middle of the country is awful.
Does it wired, wireless (5g and 2g) and mobile hot spot. It isn't my connection. More likely the fact they like to match me with people over 1000 miles away that are right next to servers. Not a good or smart combination.Servers are allegedly in Florida, New Jersey, Chicago, Texas, Denver and West Coast. Strange coincidence that almost all my laggy games are people with these in their name or real close. Boston and Atlanta for instance suck too.

I used to watch Movie Gaming. He is from KC and have seen a ton of laggy warping pitches to him. Strangely enough I haven't seen him on in a long time. Wonder if he got tired of how the game plays?
