Agreed. I try to friendly quit when ever a mlb stadium is selected. You just know the gameplay is going to be laggy

I feel the same about playing people on PS4/XB1. I wish I could only play next gen players. Load times on the PS5 are crazy quick but I still have to experience the long load times and reduced framerates every time I play someone on an old console.

Exactly this, if I play someone also on next gen I can tell because everything is smooth.

Its a non issue on Ps5, but on Ps4, yes 100%.

After all the hassle to get a PS5, you can be [censored] sure I am always playing in MLB stadiums.
P.s. My 4 year old loves watching the fish in the tanks behind the plate, it's the little things...

Absolutely my thought process as well. I still won't play at Minute Maid or Comerica but about anything ese os fair game for sure.

You can. Use custom stadiums. If you select a custom stadium, you will only match up with Xbox Series or PS5 players every single time, even if you are the away team. If you don't want to play in a custom stadium, you have to hope you are the away team (and that your opponent hasn't selected one) or you can play against PS4 Xbox One users.

Whaaaa!? Are you sure because when I select a custom stadium, it will fail 2-3 times before I get to the pitcher screen. I figured it was failing because I was the home team and matched with a prev. gen player. So it drums up a complete queue of only next gen players?

That's right. If you're having trouble getting custom stadiums to work, go into the editor and reupload them. I think there was an issue a while back and that was the fix.

Congrats on sounding like a fool. FPS drops have nothing to do with internet connectivity. It’s also a well documented problem with older generation consoles. Your opinion on that matter only reinforces the first sentence of this response. You’re better off riding the pine instead of sounding like a dolt any further.

I don’t actually have any issues with FoD. It’s parks that tend to have a lot going on like Minute Maid. Parks like Dodger Stadium, Coors, and New York I’ve run into and have minimal FPS drops.
I wonder how much could be solved by simply having a an option to turn off the crowds.

I don't think MLB stadiums play bad at all. I actually prefer playing at any MLB stadium instead of playing at cheesy Shippett.

I don't think MLB stadiums play bad at all. I actually prefer playing at any MLB stadium instead of playing at cheesy Shippett.
