The game isnt broken, you just need to get better. Plain and simple.

I never comment on the individual threads because I don’t want to make the OP upset, but every moment is too easy if you are decent at the game. I just chuckle every time I see people complaining about hitting moments.

thank you my man - many of us here in the same boat as you - tons of baby whiners in this thread crying about this that or the other

They are without a doubt easy. These guys should stop whining and try a new approach to hitting. Whether that be switching to zone or changing their pci placement strategy. They would be able to easily do them also if they got their hitting down.

    I agree to an extent.
There are somethings tho that I could do without.

    1. I think any time a moment requires you to hit a homer with a guy that has less then 80 power isnt necessary. While its possible, you are essentially relying on RNG for it to eventually happen.
    2. When a Showdown is a certain difficulty like Rookie or Veteran then all cpu aspects should be that way. I shouldnt have someone with common or bronze fielding robbing me of a home run on rookie difficulty. That makes no sense. Just make it all star difficulty or something and then its at least more explainable.

Other then that I largely agree with the OP. Im a first year player and still learning and I find all offline things doable so far. Some are just more unnecessarily difficult then the others.

As they should be. I think SDS has done a fantastic job at making all of their inventory EXTREMELY attainable....but you can't expect everything to just be given to you. Just as in life, there are some things you have to work a little bit to get (but, it is 2021 so that logic has been long forgotten)

I played some kid last night that had a big inning against me in like the 4th and was sending me harassing messages to quit and bunt dancing. Ended up losing 8-7, but outhit him 17-14 and had fewer Ks 8-4.

It is amazing the entitlement some people have now. In his mind I was completely in the wrong for finishing the game.

The game isnt broken, you just need to get better. Plain and simple.

How can you be better than the cpu god defense though?

by making better hits and stop blaming a game for your shortcomings or lack of talent / eye / patience at the dish etc.

Yeah..because my " lack of skills" with a hitter that has diamond contact over 100 on both sides of the plate hits a perfect perfect line drive down the first base line, only to get snagged 3 or 4 feet in the air, over the first basemens head with no defensive rating hire than 60. Yeah....my lack of skills. 😒

what a giant cry baby - these moments have been a breeze to complete - doing them half paying attention whilst emails - super easy - you guys must be super fun at parties - no wonder Killer4 is laughing at you

    the "fun at party" cliche.

Your wit is akin to Helen Keller's.

    Lastly...your reading comprehension skills. Here...

Be patient. It's always best to "take" anything even slightly out of the zone. Let the pitcher wear himself down. The more pitches and walks the more your chances of success go up drastically. Once they get into the low-side of confidence and energy, they will become quite hittable.

That 260. Average really makes me scared to play you. No chomp, definitely nibbling.

Screw the 5th inning one. I move my PCI too much for Ryan's outlier 102. With a human you can read tendencies and sit on a location. With the cpu, it's all stupidly random -- high curveballs and sliders, smoke 2 feet off either side of the plate, then a dot on the low inside corner.

Worst experience of this season for me. Hated it and won't replay it.

Draft speed and pick up the bunting perks. Makes it super easy

if i can help you at all here - yes i play on a monitor - ps5 - comfortable chair - focused at the plate - never rushing (allowing 1 hour of game time every few days if i am lucky) - mostly online in events or RS is where i sit because of lack of time

also years of playing and being able to focus - i am around 3 ft away from the monitor too - 28"

So basically, the exact opposite of my typical strategy: flail helplessly at nearly every pitch that's within 100 miles of the zone then pray my opponent is inexperienced enough to leave one over the middle so I can accidentally crush it over the fence and score a cheap win. lol
