I would have to say I’d like to see pitch speeds increased a bit at the lower levels. I get good good perfect perfects all that when I play HOF+Legend but put me on all star or below and all I do is pull everything foul. A 99 mile an hour fastballs I can’t make myself sit on any longer when your used to the higher difficulties. Once you play enough you can time fastballs they are better at just sneaking one by a guy for an easy strike. But if ur consistently getting owned by a fastball high and tight or just fastball in general then you need to practice timing cause fastballs made to be the easiest to hit.

Sadly, i'm still early on almost everything since i got a monitor, so they seem the same. Maybe i should play on HOF.

How many people saying pitch speeds are fine are playing on a monitor I wonder? I feel like the dudes lighting up my Hal newhouser throwing 100 mph gas are while some games I’m pitching a shut out. Meanwhile I’m consistently getting good okay on balls just barely outside the center of the pci consistently

I use a TV and I think they are fine. Anyone saying pitch speeds are fast are getting confused with the messed up timing window. Pitch speeds are fine. Timing window is not

It seems to be hit or miss. Some games they are crazy fast, some games it's ok. I played a game last night and was fine. But I played 3 games earlier that afternoon just before my first post and it was insane. The game I played late was an event game so I know was all star. The ranked seasons games I played that afternoon I was in the 400s so they were not on a high level but gold ohtani (against me) and my smoltz were both too fast for me and my opponent. So I dont know what's going on.

Pitch speeds are fine and don't need to be slowed down, practice and get better.

@THE_Tomdawg69er dude dont be stupid. You understood. Understand the issue, dont get caught up in semantics. Dont lose sight of the forest for the trees.

There can be more than one issue. You say pitch speeds, I say grammar.

And now there are 8 upvotes to my original post. Plenty of people agree and more and more are finally getting on here to let it be known, and that's in less than 24 hours. Hmmmm maybe onto something here but the haters will still hate. Anyhow if sds wants our money and others who arentbon here yet to spend more they will have to fix the game first.

Fastballs aren’t too fast ; as mentioned by others the swing timing is the issue. The only people who think there’s an issue are the ones thinking they should be hitting 15 bombs per game in my opinion

If so I should have adjusted because I've played about 15 games since they changed it. But there is just no time to gauge it now

Yeah I'm struggling with the FB also it's like I have to guess when it's coming..I shouldn't have to swing right away on 94mph heater as opposed to a guy throwing in the 100's I'm usually late or very late can't get the timing down or I'm just too old too slow..

I feel like playing 2000 RS games per yer for the last three years plus counts as sufficient practice. The swing timing windows are borked beyond belief. Doesn’t matter if you’re early or late. Pitch speeds aren’t the issue, the timing windows are. It’s ruining online just as much as the low offspeed meta that plagued ‘18.

Yeah dont listen to that guy he is a broken record. Hes so good he can handle any speed and basically is saying f.u. to anyone who can't adjust to what he can.

That’s why it’s called a fastball, not slowball. My only tip for you is to go into custom practice, change the hitting difficulty to like hall of fame and hit against guys like Nolan Ryan or Noah Syndergaard, Guys with the outlier quirk. Once you get the timing down you’ll destroy in online.
