In most MLB stadiums the frame rates is terrible on the PS4, minor league stadiums its very smooth and looking around the web its most likely due to there being more fans with MLB parks. So being mostly a PC guy I'm thinking, okay so the game is badly optimized with the PS4's hardware so lets lower the resolution to 720p expecting smooth gameplay in MLB parks but its exactly the same as 1080p. So its obviously a badly optimized piece of software they made this year....The Show 2020 didn't have this problem. You guys really need to put more emphasis on frame rates instead of pretty graphics...take the man power you guys use for fluff garbage modes like DD or those silly online mini games and put it into optimization...its a baseball game, I'd like to hit a fast ball at a smooth consistent frame rate not like 35 frames.

The ship has sailed on them fixing framerates on PS4. The game is only going to be on PS4 like 2 or 3 more years anyway.

For me the frame rate only sucks online or in rain games. Rain makes it lag a good bit.

That hardware is way too out dated to run the software, simple as that.

No its not dude, there are more graphically intensive games on the PS4 that runs smoothly....go change your resolution to 720p of The Show, it will run at the same frame rate.

That's because it's optimized that way. PS4 cannot run this game at 60 fps at reasonable resolution. Hasn't been able to in years. The hardware in a PS4 is junk. 720 and 1080 isn't enough of a difference to notice too easily. Plus PS4 games tend to cap at 30fps on games that cannot do 60fps well enough. That's probably why you don't see a difference, capped.

See this is exactly why I can't stand nooby archaic console gaming....you're so handicapped. No graphical tweaking, no custom resolution, can't add Reshade, can't mod, can't use Freesync or G-sync....no Ultrawide support....I hope they release The Show 22 on PC.
