Some people can't access the internet or have really bad connections.

Thought this was an offline thread but yet the online trolls are drawn in.
I hate having to start with a showdown phase. 0-2 so far. Work the count, warning track. Fun!!!

I gave up on online a while ago because of my kid always running in when I was playing. Dont want to be that guy constantly pausing every game for who knows how long. It's nice you can get these done offline even if you do have to deal with showdown shenanigans. Be nicer if you didn't though lol.

Had to stop at 60 points for the night .... so can this be done without online and showdown?
I haven't played 1 inning online this year - I don't want that headache, just here to collect cards.

So say it if you do not like those modes. What is the problem with someone saying they do not like to play certain modes but they have to? Why do you even care if someone doesnt like online and showdown? Stop being a D.

Yes, I’m disappointed.
Have to do 2 of these 3 I never do:
- Play online - seems glitchy and full of jerks
- Play conquest - I want to play baseball, not stratego.
- Play showdown - Again, 15 outs, runners on make pretend stuff ain’t baseball. And pay stubs for the privilege? (yes, I know you make your stubs back with any decent progress, but the first round is against a mini-boss)
I will gladly earn whatever you’d like in vs CPU games at any difficulty level. No jerks present! No “steal fans” phase! 9 innings lessen the chances of being robbed by perfect/perfect outs or something of the like mattering.
But, I’ll deal with it and get them done. No ill will or shade meant for any of you that enjoy the modes I disparaged.

Yes I got to 66 tonight deciding where my next move is either online or showdown

First games played online this year for me, 3 wins actually had a bit of fun, Yankee and White Sox missions are done. This might not be so bad afterall.

i dont do online but played 2 events. Got like 5 K's so at least there's that. Lost both games, they were close, but i dont' care about W or L. Get me the 10 Ks for the WSox and at least one mission is done.

I did the math and if you can't beat the showdown you have to win the 5 games otherwise it only takes you to 98 points. So i'm aiming at 5 wins because I really suck at showdown.

Stop looking for handouts guy…. Win 15 event games, complete the online missions, do the rest of the missions offline and do a few moments. It’s very simple… took me 3 hours to complete

That's where I'm at too. Unless they add a collection or repeatable offline mission I'll be at 83 points and short of Felix and Clemente and that's fine.
Earlier in the year I might have forced myself to do showdown but at this point I'm only interested in having fun and that mode is pretty much the polar opposite.

The yankees hits and White sox Ks is online only. The rest of the missions can be offline
