Field of Dreams packs.

I won't buy any packs, but I bought the 5 base round guys for about 10K a piece. Maybe they go a little lower, but that seems low enough to me to try out some new cards. I may wait a bit on the rare round guys.

Loved Jim Palmer is previous years, he had a fluid, unique wind up. This year they messed it up badly. I think they re-did a bunch of the pitching animations. Bob Feller is another similar to Palmer, use to have a fluid/faster windup and they messed it up this year.
Anyway, I am happy they put a sweet Palmer card in the pack, but sad they ruined his windup.

That Lou Brock made me smile from ear to ear. His FotF last year was so much fun and the stats look similar. He's def going into some teams I run out there in online play.

It’s basically a hit it and quit it buy 1 let it fly thats all that’s what I did got lucky got rare round welcome Pizza boy .

I was so close to paralleling my other Lou Brock card!!! He's outplayed other higher ranked cards so I'm excited to see what this new shiny one does!

Meanwhile I'm buying up all the 10k cast offs and will sell them for 15-20k in the next week or two..

I'll obviously go Brock if I get the base round, which is highly likely. I doubt I actually buy a pack though. I have 300K in stubs but don't want to spend half that on packs only to get 5 base rounds (again the most likely scenario).

I had the stubs to spend. Going into today I had every card in the game besides the 5th inning bosses. I know packs are a scam I just like the thrill of opening them. (I may also have a gambling problem)

Yeah, I just bough all 5 base cards for about 9k each when it dropped. 45 k much better deal than 150k. There will likely be more of these packs later, but I think these cards will actually go up short term with the Stub sale and once the people brave enough to but packs purchase their 5.

My biggest thing is everyone wants the rare round but does anyone like their swings? I'm not a fan of Piazza or Schmidt swing. Plus I think Swharber or All Star J.T. and Chipper are pretty close to being locks for those positions. I obviously wanted the rare round too when I bought the pack but I got the base round. Still haven't decided who I will take in it. I have 1 million stubs left and feel like I can't afford those packs still,

I got a rare round in the first pack and sold him for about 130K. Base round in the next four packs, so I ended up getting 4 base cards for about 33K total, so I only got a very small discount had I bought them off the market. Probably shoulda just kept Grove lol.
