Piazza spent 7 years in LA and put up 32 WAR (4.57/yr)
He then spent 8 years in Queens and put up 24 WAR (3/yr)Dodger card makes much more sense.
I don't think war is a good stat to use when comparing it to this game. The basic stats is how they stat the cards. His best card would be a ss card from either 97 or 99 as they are almost identical years. Sig cards however is a 3 year stat so you are probably right in that he should be a dodger for his sig considering how good a 3 year stretch he had from 96 to 98.

Lefty Grove had a 99 SS last year which was excellent. Yes, long windup but outlier and good pitch mix.

I would think packs are 30k, which is the usual price....Don't think they have posted the base rounds yet.

I typically hate the old timers wind ups too. I’m not buying the pack so I won’t get any of them.

For sure. But we didn’t all have enough to get him lol. I’m sitting 11/15 and need 4, 5, 5, 11 and 14 so anything helps.

I can't remember where I read this, but Lefty Grove was sold from his first team because the owner needed money to pay for a new outfield wall at his stadium. So Lefty Grove is the only Hall of Famer ever to be traded for a fence.

The odds are 1:10 for rare and 1:1 for base but they haven’t released either of the other two

Hypothetically if you pull a rare right away is the best move to sell it? I'm assuming prices will be at peak right away.

I guess not lol. I sold my Piazza for 125K now he is up to 160K.
