New update is nerfing high sinkers

I bet if you go back and look at every patch notes since 17 you will find 1 a year that claims to make this change. I'll believe it when I see it but a "nerfing sinkers up in the zone" patch is more of an annual meme than a game changing update

They’ve never mentioned change of break on sinkers since it became the meta in 20. This is the first time

It's always been the Meta( except for 18 that had that weird splitter meta). It just seems like its a newer thing because 20 and 21 had that many more players abusing it

Maybe not in 20, but there were at least 1 each in 17 and 18 about it. Can't really go back and look I guess. All I know is throughout the years they have tried this same fix several times and its never worked. So I'm not getting my hopes up

Definitely no idea how this will play out...especially since this is my first year, but I take it as a win that they know it is an issue.

Not too jump on the wagon here and kick you more, but as others have said, this has been “meta” since at least 17 and every year since then (I will note I didn’t play 20, so can’t commit to it being there), they have had at least one patch where they attempted a fix and has always been unsuccessful. I’m not holding my breath on this one either, especially since they said they were fixing contact swing and that’s still “meta.”
