Reading an Orson Welles book doesn’t make someone highly educated

Dude, you likely mean George Orwell.

And, yeah, I've read a few of his. Pretty easy reads actually..even someone that mistakes Orson Welles (the 300 lb actor/director) for the author George Orwell could make it through Animal Farm or 1984..both only a tad over 300 pages as I recall.

To be fair, Welles relates to gullibility costing people their lives as well.

Also, the lessons of Orwell’s books were obviously lost on you. Enjoy your ignorance. Hint: it isn’t strength.

Oh my. Doc you aren't also just the ex-triple A guy. You're Bobby and, obviously Bobby sticking up for Yankblan's blunder..has to be you as well.

One sick puppy. I'm going to start calling you Sybil. Or "Doc"..heck I dunno. But it's fun talking with you (all of you). Ha.

For a "smart guy" who does "research", you are doing a terrible job of convincing us. You know, you can look at universal profiles and see how much each person plays and when. If you had done your research, being so smart and all, you'd see it's not possible for us to be the same person, unless we have multiple consoles and multiple arms.

Stop catfishing us all. Covid is real. Vaccines work (since 1798).

My research is not very involved when it comes to outing sock puppets. They are what they are. Pretty much everywhere.

With you, and your other profiles, it's just simple deduction and instinct. Doesn't take much research..you're easy.

Man... You've gone full unhinged over an argument over what constitutes gaslighting...

Ladies and Gentlemen, the advanced mind of a covid denier.

Sir here is the data that shows your assumption is impossible:

Tin_eyes: Nope, I know more than you.

You realize a couple of your other profiles use the seldom used "sir". It's a formal salutation that most people don't use in common forum chit-chat. Pretty distinctive and brands you.

Tell me who your other profiles are and I'll give you advice on best practices to pull off the sock puppet thing much more covertly. What you're doing wrong, tips to draw distinction between your alter-egos. All that. I do not work cheap though. What's it worth to you?

Look at Universal profiles, provide actual evidence, show your work.

This is your chance to show all 20 people here how smart you really are. This is your 15 minutes, don't blow it!

Man... You've gone full unhinged over an argument over what constitutes gaslighting...

Nah..not really. Anyone that is oily/slimy enough to create multiple profiles in order to support their own postings (like you and Doc) should be outed.

It started with the proper usage of gaslighting..but developed into..."Wait a second, this guy is not only wrong..he's fake..he's fake all over the place". At that point it was more a fun mission to out the misinformation, fake arguments, accredited yet false identity, and manipulation in general.

I believe manipulators are the scourge of society..have complete disdain for people (even companies) that would resort to ganging up and bullying people with a bunch of fake profiles. Gaslighting is an extension of this. It's more effective when "the mob" start telling you reality is not what you believe it to be.

So, that's all. Just having fun and exploiting the slime-balls.

Brother, no one here is angry, unless you are?

I have actual life issues that are far more pressing than you 🙂

But thank you for keeping me busy tonight. I have a step son stranded in Brazil due to international flight restrictions (that virus you think is fake), and I'm on my fifth call with him trying to find a flight home after his has been cancelled/changed 3 times.

Keep talking, it reminds the rest of us that it could ALWAYS be worse, even in these trying times.

Dude, you cant even keep names straight. That guy had nothing to do with previous conversations. Alright, I'm out, your elevator got stuck on the second floor, you can't even remember who you're arguing with.

In the immortal words of Vince Neil, don't go away mad..just go away.

You'll resurface again, undoubtedly. Another profile another identity.

Keep talking, it reminds the rest of us that it co
uld ALWAYS be worse, even in these trying times.

You know you're so pizzed off right now. Completely outed you, and you thought you were smarter than the average bear. Drove you to completely jumping out of character of the esteemed "writing teacher" Paul Lucas. I LOVE IT! Doesn't mean I won, but you surely ain't going to get anyone to believe you ever again.

If you really have family stranded, I feel bad for you.

But, I don't ever feel bad for going out of my way to destroying false narratives and manipulating Richard Craniums.

Here or there. On a house or with a mouse. HaHa.

Haha..ok Doc. I'm still laughing. However you want to rewrite history is up to you, but we both know you lost your cool. Ya can't carry a debate. Can't handle the logic press even a little. You know who folded.

But, recount it however you want..I'm pretty satisfied at this point.

Ok, there are all kinds out here. Some sincere, some pretty sketchy. There are some folks that really seem to be all about helping out with this game. And, for the most part, they do a good job of it. Probably the primary focus of this forum I would imagine. To market and manage the product.

However, their are people that say the most ridiculous stuff. There is this one guy that tried to convince everyone he was an ex-triple A baseball player. And, TBH, that's not hard to believe. I'm sure this game appeals to ex-baseball players in general..by and large.

It's just this guy's entire narrative was so off. The main reason is he was so deadest on trying to make people believe he was. Just promoted his story way to hard. Those are the type that, typically, aren't.

Catfish always have an agenda. They'll go so far as to drag in fake pix and bogus identities, web-links, etc. thinking you can't possibly disprove such things.

Normally to establish credentials that should make them and expert on a relevant subject, or to build a relationship (those are the ones you really need to be careful of because it's typically not your better good they are concerned with).

So you younger kids, and even older kids. Be careful. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck it might be a catfish.

I would have asked for his name and looked it up on baseball reference to see if he was legit. That would solve the mystery within minutes.

Yeah, he would never give his name. Always had some story wrapped around solving a puzzle that would give it away. If you solved the puzzle you would know his identity. And the puzzle was some goofy rhetoric about finding a high school in some Midwestern town that had a state hall-of-fame shortstop and blah-blah. Something like that. It's been awhile and It's not worth looking for the old posts.

Just like it wasn't worth spending more than 90 seconds or so trying to figure out who he was. Or wasn't more likely

But, he kept his name anony AFAIK.
