If you quit then quit the forum; f off once and for all
What? That's harsh..very harsh. What if I want to hang around..offer suggestions..and see if any of them are implemented for next year?
These guys don't want to run off a potential future buyer..right? They got my money this year..they want my money next.

Ok, there are all kinds out here. Some sincere, some pretty sketchy. There are some folks that really seem to be all about helping out with this game. And, for the most part, they do a good job of it. Probably the primary focus of this forum I would imagine. To market and manage the product.
However, their are people that say the most ridiculous stuff. There is this one guy that tried to convince everyone he was an ex-triple A baseball player. And, TBH, that's not hard to believe. I'm sure this game appeals to ex-baseball players in general..by and large.
It's just this guy's entire narrative was so off. The main reason is he was so deadest on trying to make people believe he was. Just promoted his story way to hard. Those are the type that, typically, aren't.
Catfish always have an agenda. They'll go so far as to drag in fake pix and bogus identities, web-links, etc. thinking you can't possibly disprove such things.
Normally to establish credentials that should make them and expert on a relevant subject, or to build a relationship (those are the ones you really need to be careful of because it's typically not your better good they are concerned with).
So you younger kids, and even older kids. Be careful. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck it might be a catfish.
The last several years have further demonstrated how willing people are to believe the most ridiculous things without any evidence, even when the consequences are life and death.
They have also demonstrated how far people will go to deny hard evidence if it doesn’t fit their narrative.
I’m acutely aware of how few people are able and willing to think critically, especially when influenced by a cult leader. Amazingly, I am still shocked every time I personally encounter such gullibility. Yes, people really are that dumb.

Believe it all comes down to the fact there exists a multitude of personalities, beliefs, backgrounds, and upbringings.
People lie once and you expect them to lie again.
Some ppl are gullible and don't recognize the deception. Or, put too much emphasis/trust on the deliverer of the lie - whether it be our government, media, or some dude on a gaming forum.
More than 50% not vaccinated in this country. Are they wrong or right? It's all related to my first paragraph. If you say wrong..you're smarter than 180 million..if you say right..you're smarter than 150 million.
Pretty ballsy (stubborn/naive) for one person to say they have a better understanding of any issue that hundreds of millions disagree with.

Whether you’re a troll or actually that stupid, it has to be said that science doesn’t function as or concern itself with “opinion.”
Most of the world believing the world was flat or that the sun revolved around the earth did not affect the fact that neither is true.
As much as you think this Orwellian post-truth [censored] is funny, it is not. Many people really are that gullible and their gullibility has consequences.
-
Ultimately, this line of thinking is relatively easy to fall into and can have pretty bad consequences. Because it can never be proven whether the OP is right or wrong, he can claim that he is right and feels a sense of superiority that he "figured out" who is who.
The bad consequence I refer to is the trap is the ease in relatively of just dismissing any fact or opinion as "secret people" who are trying to manipulate you. Now note that I am not saying that doesn't happen in the real world, it does. However, the person can ignore anything with a simple typing of one sentence and feel superior doing so.
In this forum instance it's relatively harmless, but the wider complications, such as the covid thing the OP referenced showcase how it can snowball.

Bobby, this is not a political forum. You ain't going to convince me of anything I haven't spent the last year and half of my life researching to death. Just because the media/government says it's true..doesn't mean it is...doesn't mean it isn't. But science is an constantly morphing and still relative beast.
Yesterdays truth is tomorrow's "I can't believe they thought that back in 2020".
Science is, on the abstract, exactly like an opinion..you can spin it..extract numbers out of context..or conduct studies with non-representative sample sets and come up with any propaganda you need to support a political agenda. That simple.
And that's all I have to say about science.

Sean and Tucker called, they have that bonus check for ya.
Facts are not opinion bud, and your approach kills people. Over 600,000 so far.
By the way, the ex "President" and those talking heads on TV? They all got their Vaccine in January.
It’s probably very comforting, when you know nothing, to think that it’s impossible to know anything.
Bobby..did you not see the stat I laid out there for you..it's 180,000,000 that haven't and, likely, won't take the vaccination. So, I suppose all of them are just like me. We know nothing..only Bobby and the other 150,000,000 know the truth.
I will say nothing else about anything that doesn't involve conspiracy theories aimed at this game. Good day to you.
Also, "writing teacher" or "Doc". We'll just go with "Doc". Stop with the charade already.
You're probably also Bobby..who knows.
3 disclaimers..I'm not a Trump guy..I'm highly educated..I voted Democrat in all but one Presidential race since 2000.

Reading an Orson Welles book doesn’t make someone highly educated

Dude, you likely mean George Orwell.
And, yeah, I've read a few of his. Pretty easy reads actually..even someone that mistakes Orson Welles (the 300 lb actor/director) for the author George Orwell could make it through Animal Farm or 1984..both only a tad over 300 pages as I recall.

To be fair, Welles relates to gullibility costing people their lives as well.
Also, the lessons of Orwell’s books were obviously lost on you. Enjoy your ignorance. Hint: it isn’t strength.

Oh my. Doc you aren't also just the ex-triple A guy. You're Bobby and, obviously Bobby sticking up for Yankblan's blunder..has to be you as well.
One sick puppy. I'm going to start calling you Sybil. Or "Doc"..heck I dunno. But it's fun talking with you (all of you). Ha.

Your numbers are wrong for one, children cannot get vaccinated yet and should not be included. Secondly, even if your numbers were right, it’s literally an error in thinking - the bandwagon fallacy.

Right Sybil. Find a vaccination for DID.

Reading through this thread...just wow
OP, seek help. You’re only supposed to eat a little bit of the edible at a time, not the whole thing at once
