We know that the Cabrera card is a "Future Stars" variety, so I checked out his Minor League stats:
    2016 Rookie League: 2-6, 4.21 ERA in 7 starts
    2017-18 A-Ball: 5-11, 4.71 ERA in 28 starts
    2019 AA-Ball: 9-4, 2.23 ERA (Nice!)
    2020: No stats. Arm trouble?
2021 Combined AA and AAA: 2-2, 2.58 ERA

    Totals: 18-23, 3.52 ERA, 64 Starts, 1 SHO, 1.252 WHIP, 8.3 H/9, .9 HR/9

So, what do these numbers suggest?

And before anyone asks, yes, I've had a lot of free time on my hands.

Like he’s developing into a potentially really nice young arm

Edward Cabera ranks pretty high in prospect lists, I would really hesitate to use minor league numbers, especially ERA to dismiss him.

Now I am not comparing him to Jacob Degrom or saying he will become Degrom, (99.9999% chance he doesn't), but look up Degroms minor league numbers, they really aren't impressive. Numbers at that level aren't everything

And as someone mentioned, no prospect has stats in 2020 because there was no minor league season

Ummm. An ERA under 2.5 the last couple years with some of the best stuff in baseball? He might actually end up as good as his card in the show lol.

Minors stats don’t always tell the full picture, neither do early career stats. Look at Alek Manoah for Toronto. Had only 35 innings of minors experience before his MLB debut and now is 3-1 with a 2.47 ERA and a 0.97 WHIP.

Does this mean he will be the next Halladay? No. Bigger sample sizes are needed to see where someone will truly be throughout their career.

He’s thrown less than 100 innings every season(unless he has this season, I’m too lazy to look)
He primarily relies on a hard sinker which doesn’t play as well in the big leagues as it does in the minor leagues. Very few pitchers in today’s game are dominate without a firm 4 seam with good spin efficiency and rate.
He also walks way too many people to be a starter in the big leagues

I read that he's ranked around 60th in MLB as far as prospects go.
    Definitely a live arm.
I was just trying to figure out how they generate stats.
I hope the kid turns into a stud so the Marlins do what they do-- develop talent for fan bases that draw.

A couple of important stats that you didn’t mention that really help gauge the trajectory of young pitchers esp once they reach AA-AAA were his K/9 and BB/K which are really indicative of his ability to miss bats more so than some of the others-his over the two levels in ‘21 so far are 12.8 K/9 with almost 4/1 K per walks which are pretty good numbers.
