Money or NMS does not matter. Stubbs are beyond easy this year, just have a pulse and a somewhat functioning brain and you get unlimited stubs.
So in actuality , everything is same price.

Spend all your Stubbs buying cards during flash sale. Sell 2 days later and now you have 2 to 3 x the Stubbs you had before.. Wait for next flash sale and repeat. Really not much time needed to get Stubbs in this game. Just need a brain , but from the posts i see here, that may be in short supply.

With all that SDS hands out, it's on you if you don't have it. I spend no money or work the market, but I'll have him Thursday after the monthly award program. Then I'll continue to save and buy low, and I'll have enough for the next collection. You may not like Mookie, but all the cards collected for him will be needed for the next collect.

Correction… those “millions of stubs” did not get him one card…. Those millions of stubs got him basically every card in the game, and he got Mookie as a free reward for being a Collectasaurus Rex.

Bro…. Some people get just as much enjoyment from working the market and collecting cards as they do from playing RS. I really enjoy the collecting aspect. Will there be a load of cards I never use? Of course. But that’s not the point of collecting! (But I can field a pretty gnarly team every day for the daily innings.)

You can pretty much bank on SDS not doing a flash sale for the final collection ( hell, they may do a stub sale). They always try to cross things up.

I was actually thinking today would be a stub sale instead but I didn’t expect the requirements to be that high. Instead of lower requirements/higher prices, they tanked prices and raised requirements.

My wife got me the disc version PS5 bundle a few weeks ago during the GameStop restock for about $850 which had two controllers, two games, and a $50 GameStop gift card. I told her beforehand that if we were to get it that we would never buy from scalpers.

I get it man. But instead of shaming the people who buy from scalpers, maybe some of that energy should be directed at Sony for allowing so many purchases from the same ip address. They could have stopped them, but to them a sell is a sell.

It's bullshitt. I know that pc gamers are having the same problem with graphics cards (whatever those are) its really simple, it should be illegal. But it's hard to do that in a free market. The media had no problem lighting up that guy who hoarded hand sanitizer and was selling them marked up.
which is hilariously hypocritical, shame a guy who was selling marked up hand sanitizer during a pandemic. But don't say anything about designer companies profiting off the pandemic by making $500 face masks. Or corporations for spending 100 dollars to get an I phone made in China by children, and then selling it to Americans for 1500.
