Or is it just that some new people have finally gotten fed up enough that they have to voice the problems of the game and were tired of sitting quietly and waiting for changes that haven't happened? Hmmmm .... I wonder.

Now 99% of the players hate it.
Just revert the patch to launch day SDS. Bring back the game you tested. It was the most fun people had with the Show in YEARS.
This current game doesn’t make sense and if playing terrible.
If you say it’s not playing bad, you’re being dishonest.
i went 102-24 in the event and currently 20-3 in ranked and have played a ton of chrome league games with friends on HoF and no matter what update they come out with i’m still a top tier player.. learn to adjust instead of complaining
I did adjust. The hitting engine is still [censored].

Bro, I’m 20-2 and won 6 in a row after the patch and even I’m saying this game isn’t nearly as fun as it was the first week. The last patch messed everything up. This is about everyone just having fun playing the game. Even All-Star online feels like HOF and that’s not right at all. Yea, more experienced and skilled players can adjust easier to such changes, but that doesn’t make the game fun for everyone. SDS should’ve just buffed pitching accuracy and fielding (and baserunning too honestly) and left hitting alone. Just let everyone have fun with the game.

Raising pitch speeds wouldn’t be an issue if my game didn’t lag as I swing. I’m sorry but when my input gets delayed a majority of the time, there is no way you can hit the fastball no matter how quick your reaction time is.

Launch hitting was ridiculous though too, I get that it was fun, but any swing where the ball was close, at times not even in the PCI went for a home run, thats not viable, mixed with the enforced hangers and it was literally MLB the Show Batting Practice edition, I have played a few games since this most recent patch and I feel like the game plays great.

Agreed! The timing window combined with latency is making hitting a fastball near impossible for me. And I’ve played this game since ‘16 and have never struggled this much.

Been around since ‘16, this years game is really bad. Swing timing windows are absolutely ruining the experience for me and as said, even when you win, it’s not fun at all. They messed up this year. Hopefully next year will be good, we seem to be in an alternate cycle where they make a good game then a terrible game then a good game again. Shame on me for spending money on this title based on what we got last year. It’s pretty obvious there’s no correlation there.

I welcome change, but still wanna have fun. The timing window is different from last year forsure. I think the new patch has helped some though. The year is just getting started, curious to see where it goes from here.

Nope. Especially considering I’m in quarantine right now. I was tested for coronavirus.
So I’m just sitting here.
Mantle was hard to resist. I wouldn’t have done it just to do it. I’ve been wanting them to get his rights for years.
