Im 39 and 27 and I've never lost so many games and felt like I could lose every game or to anyone since I first started playing DD as a scrub. I already feel like a loser getting shutout with diamond hitters i should be hitting with and I've made world series every season last year but I can't win more than 2 games, I'm averaging like 1, 2 or getting shutout by Oswalt everytime I'm on the road, and I feel like my skills aren't giving me an advantage. I usually can ignore alot of BS and lossss where I get screwed over but I literally can't play without getting shutout once by Oswalt or having a game where i can't string together hits. I'm thinking about getting COD or My Hero to make up for me wasting my money apparently. Any tips on how to not get shutout by Oswalt or hit better in low scoring games cause I've never hit this badly in my life in the show. Im batting 275.

You're batting .275!!!! That's good buddy. Is it because you're playing DD and you expect to score 10 runs a game and hit 3 home runs? That's the problem with DD, everyone is playing for football scores. If your team is averaging .275 in Franchise you're basically a playoff team.

I’m pretty much .500 in ranked seasons but I just finished a game where they threw a perfect game against me. I have a full diamond squad but I know you could have a full 99 team and still suck. It still comes down to skill. But I was playing well above .500 last year. Not anywhere near World Series caliber but I was at least having fun. I watched all the YouTube videos on hitting tips but still struggle a lot. I might just suck at the game but I feel like there is something SDS can do. When they game launched I was hitting really well. What the hell is going on?!? Lol

Whole different gameplay. I’m pretty good myself but find that I play better this year but I’ve put in a lot of work early playing with a team like the tigers and playing the cpu Yankees on legend. I can say it’s definitely made my game a lot better

Heck I’m only 23-19 this year and Pennant Race is all the higher I’ve gotten while batting .266. It’s just going to take some time and patience to get better.

That’s an average batting average tbh. If you want to be competitive you have to bat at least .300 or be an amazing pitcher (which has not helped this year).

Honestly, I was in a pretty bad slump for the past week or so. My record dropped a decent amount before I took a couple days off. I don’t know what I did to get out of it, maybe the days off helped, but I came back today and I felt like I was back to being decent again.

I get that I should its just I've lost so many games on the road in low scoring games where I'm squaring up outs late in the game that caused me to lose. I understand slumps but I feel like i have bad luck

I guess. But last year i batted at least 290 or higher. Thats the lowest my average has ever been. I'm not expecting to score 10 runs a game I just asking my sqaured up homeruns, or doubles to happen when I'm down 2 to 3 when my opponent has the lead off of bs. Whenever I'm squaring up the ball against pitchers i struggle against in a low scoring game and not get rewarded for it there's a good chance I'm getting shutout or only one run. The pitcher is already going to be tough to hit. But i see what your saying.

I was batting 300 until like 2 days ago during a 3 game win streak before i lost 2 in a row. The two games i lost i squared up the ball 7 to 8 times in the last 2 innings down one run. Like squared up enough for go ahead homeruns or doubles or at least singles but they were outs. They were both against oswalt who drives me crazy on the mound cause i already hate facing him and can't hit him consistently well. I should be in the 820s with a 5 game win streak but instead im back in the wild card at 693. Little stuff like that will not only kill stats but momentum, confidence, and me wanting to strive to become a better player

Nope not at all, I avoid playing online like the plague. I'm too much of a Sim player in everything I play, I play Formula 1 games as much as baseball and I've never played F1 games online either...there is no respect, its bumper cars really and if a noob/casual is overtaken he comes back and crashes you because his noob/casual feeling's pride has been crushed. I've been playing The Show since 2011 and its strictly 162 game franchise with ever single pitch, none of that fast pitch or fast play garbage. Once my season is done, get new game and rinse and repeat....I don't do any of that multiple year Franchise for the same game, just one year..the year of the game and I move on.

Honestly, man.... Take a couple days off. It's a marathon, not a sprint. If you aren't having fun, take a few days. Or take a few weeks and build a killer team. The WS rewards aren't even that good this season anyway.

What do you mean no prospects? In 2019 I called up Vladdy Jr, at the same time in rl, same goes for Biggio and Bichette. And this year when I play a Season I'm sure at some point Nate Pearson will make his way up. I'm a huge Jays fan, I practically know their entire farm system so I mimic that in The Show as I'm playing Franchise cause I'm an actual baseball fan not trying to make online all star teams for rights with my online friends.
