If it's number 5, I hope it's a monster diamond George Brett.
Pujols
This is my guess

My guess is that Pujols is the 10th Inning Solo Boss (like Griffey last year) as a Career Appreciation thing.

That's very possible. I think It's more related to the number 5 than the word "big" though

If they fix Johnny Bench and his swing, that's a #5 that would be endgame at catcher. Best combo of offense and defense behind the plate. Who am I kidding, he is still going to be underwhelming just like every year.

While 5 is Joe DiMaggio's number and they did emphasize 5 many times, it would not make sense to have a second Yankee major collection reward. We already had Riviera, so another Yankee just doesn't make sense to me. By my own logic, that also eliminates Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle, and Lou Gehrig (might see a 99 version of one or more of these in Extreme Moments). It won't be a pitcher (see Riviera above - and if it IS a pitcher, my bet is 99 MVP Pedro) so I'm thinking we haven't had a dominating catcher yet. So my money is on a C, with Bench, Carter, Rodriguez, Berra and Piazza as the possible candidates.

Gotta take Berra out of the running if we're not doing Yankees, but I would be surprised if it was any of those other guys. None of them are known for being fan favorites due to poor swings or not enough pop, so people would be massively underwhelmed. I love Gary Carter but I doubt many people will open their wallets for him.
When I heard #5 I zeroed in on Dimaggio and didn't even consider any other options, but Pujols is probably more likely. Frankly I wish they would just go back to Honus and make him the big collection every year. I liked that they explained it back in 19 that the T206 Honus is only for serious collectors in real life so it's only for serious collectors in the game, too.

Wonder if it’s a prospect “next big one”
Adley maybe?

I have a soft spot for all catchers and I am pulling for Adley to be a superstar one day, but even I think that would be a huge disappointment. I think it's gotta be like a "dude" dude. Not just some dude, dude. But like a duuuude.

A duuuude like “Dude, where’s my car?”

Got to be Hank Aaron right who else big enough New can it be ? . I don’t think it’s Mantle since he was the card collection Reward a couple years back and I think DiMaggio will be the collection Reward next year .

That's exactly what it means

A duuuude like “Dude, where’s my car?”
It was in a handicapped zone. Perhaps they towed it.
-
I still think it's going to be Hank Aaron or Roberto Clemente.
