Baseball is officially now back...

...For me personally now!!!
Last season was lost of course. First half of the season, the Mariners were only allowed to have 9,000 fans in attendance and the one game I went to had Angel Fernandez calling balls and strikes and the M's were no-no'd by John Means!
For the past month, the M's were allowed to open up fully to include all the concessions. Tonight was an awesome game! A "normal" crowd compared to a couple seasons ago, no mask mandate, and some darn good baseball! Cal Raleigh's first career MLB homerun landed not to far from where I sat along with Luis Torrens' homerun, which was "back-to-back jacks on back-to-back pitches"! And then Jake Diekman gifted us the W by throwing back-to-back wild pitches after Dylan Moore stole second off him. Oh, and Kikuchi had a career night with 13 Ks!
It's been a season and a half since the last game I went to with a good-size crowd that stayed with the game all the way til the last pitch along with seeing the fireworks at the with Jimi Hendrix's "Fire" being played!
Baseball is officially back to me!

That was a great win and it came against the A's! End of July and we're still in the race for a playoff spot. Lots of great young talent on this team!

Pretty good week for Seattle fans, new NHL team to look forward to, Mariners are still playing great baseball. It would be great to see them make the playoffs and end this horrible run.

I am also excited about the Kraken! I grew up in southern California and went to a Ducks inaugural season game (final home that season). I went to an inaugural season game of the Vegas Golden Knights (I was in town and saw the Kings were playing them, so I had to go). Now, I get a chance to go to an inaugural season game of the Kraken. Watched the Kraken draft, but didn't recognize any names since I haven't been keeping up with the NHL.

I live you Vancouver but ever since seeing the Sharks live for my first game i've been a fan of them, so close so many years just havn't been able to get it done yet.
You have some good players already, I think your going to like Tanev (his brother played for the Canucks) , Larson, Giordano and Vince Dunn. Plus I always liked Donskoi when he was with the Sharks. It's going to be a fun rivalry between Seattle and Vancouver for sure.

That Anaheim match was against the Canucks and I remember Pavel Bure was on Canucks at that time! He scored in that match too!

I hear Giordano might wind up wearing the C.

Even if you follow the NHL, you don’t recognize 90% of the names lol. GMs have been smarter this time after being burned by Vegas last time. I don’t think they’ll have the same immediate success.
