Agree 100%. Connection seems to have an impact on pitch speeds.

I’ve slowed way down, played 2 last night: both bunters who couldn’t hit to save their lives and I struck them out almost twice an inning. Lost one won one because my timing is rusty but at least put the bat on the ball. Couldn’t get Billy Hamilton out even with 3B and 2B in bunt defense because of lazy animations. Even after my second game (win) I was exhausted with the constant fake bunting and constant quick pauses just to annoy the opponent.

All the offline grinding has definitely messed me up in RS. I really wish they could match up pitch speeds for online & offline so we could get the same reps in while grinding

Yea all I want to be able to do is not play legend. I’ll play HOF all day. Legend is not for 99.9% of the user base

Man difficulty doesn't even matter. The connection between you and your opponent is 90% of why you can't hit or get rewarded.

Connections but since top coast streamers can go 300-20 they won't do anything about it. If they had better connections/servers, pitching_rebel wouldn't be able to go 300-20 and I guess they think that would bad for the game. It would actually be better. He isn't sniffing that record at my house but I guess wired fiber is bad.

yeah i haven’t played much this year but i’m def not impressed with the hitting. feels worse than 20 to me tbh

I think something happened when they nerfed contact swing, which needed to be done. The ball flies so much better in events than RS. Events are always more fun. I wish they were on hall of fame though. All star is BP.

yeah AS is always way too easy for comp players but i’ve noticed that the casuals come out in full force to [censored] abt it whenever they put the events on hof. i haven’t played the events in years cuz it just doesn’t intrigue me. always played br when in need of stubs and ranked the rest of the time.

Yea im up to 75 wins on events an i feel like the rs grind doesnt seem as intriguing with knowing the game is gonna take forever compared to these event games. Think imma just finish the 100 wins on events an take break till more content drops an just skip the rs

I really wish you 1-3%'ers would stop with this narrative. AS may be BP for WS and some HOF players but it's not for the overwhelming majority of the player base.
Event games on AS give everyone a chance to get 40 wins. You WS players just get your 40 wins faster.
