I don’t use it at all and I agree with you 100 percent but I almost see why people use it. Especially above all star. Pitch speeds are insane and the pci is tiny. I never remember hitting ever being this difficult. Playing guys with insane records and seeing most of their hitters having like .130 batting averages is saying something. Takes the fun out of the game for me personally. If you made CS or World Series you really earned it this year more than any

Yeah I think legend last year is this years hof. And legends insane. I got no hit on my only game on legend, but I refuse to contact swing. And yes combined with all the issues this game has, playing above allstar is honestly not fun.

I was skeptical of people complaining post patch, but I have to admit last night one of my opponents got two fishy homeruns with huge outer PCI typically from contact swings. I use it on 2-strike counts or contact speedsters, and got a couple of hard, high velo blasts that were unfortunately caught or singles up the middle.

Agreed. And its not getting any easier with 99 Jansen. The ability to dot everypitch right where you want, just inside the zone, just outside the zone, cutting, sinking, curving, sliding, and again all exactly where you want them. Not to mention fastballs are a blurr and every pitcher is throwing 99+ now.
The game is unplayable. I put it down yesterday and didn't touch it tonight for the first time since release. Tired of the stress and the bs sinkers every game. Then you have a close game decided by bloops singles on horrible pci, bunt cheese, or lucky homeruns. Sick of it. All because the elite of the elite thought hitting was to easy last year, then they praise moonshot event. Honestly there's no reason the game can be moonshot all year, where people are able to see pitches and actually hit the ball. Pitchers would have to actually know how to pitch instead of just dot on corners all day with ease.

Agreed with this - honestly - I have said to friends - this game should be almost like softball in real life. Everyone likes hitting, especially dingers. I take no pride in my 2 ERA in RS this year - half the time I'm basically zombie-ing thru basic pitch sequences. But this is what happens - you can't please everyone - everyone bitched last year that they were tired of getting beat by 10+ runs, so now, everyone has a chance to win because no one can score. We have the top hitters "ever" at every position, and every HOF game is ending up 2-1 or 1-0. That's nuts.

The only way to really fix it is to get rid of the ability to see your opponents PCI. You only see the beachball sized on your opponents feedback when they swing contact. They nerfed for the power hitters but left it alone on every other batter type it seems. I agree additional nerfing is needed. Still too much power behind it.
