To be fair, it's not like anyone at SDS could have possibly predicted the fact that some players might accidentally pick the same card twice. The only way they could possibly know is if they had looked at any of the tickets that had been pouring in for months now.

What is amazing is how pathetic people must feel about themself that they have to make nasty comments to people about a mistake. I mean they are such losers in life that they take the time to comment on this. I feel really bad for them. -
I do not understand why for these they are even able to pick the same players. It should give an error or not even have them in the pack to select.

Kinda screwed because you can send in a ticket but you have to wait like 12 months for SDS to do anything about it.

Same thing happened with me but I don't remember picking Cronenworth twice, im usually really careful about that so it was a bit of a surprise to go into the collection and see the dreaded x2 on his card. Submitted a ticket hopefully they respond.

I just don’t get it. Adding an exchange is just such an easy opportunity to act like you give a [censored] and want to help out your consumer but they continue to ignore it. Makes very little sense. Must be B or C level programming at best. I feel like an job applicant could probably do it for free as part of the interview process.

Yes, just like it's not user error I don't have any red Sox [censored] in my collection and have all the last Al east choice packs sitting there so I don't stain my acct with scum

False equivalency much? The core of this problem is design. It should be fool proof. It’s not. Card can’t be sold? Remove it from future packs or pop an error dialogue up to block selection. It’s really that simple. The backlog of tickets for this single issue is more than enough proof on how it’s poorly designed. It’s not even up for debate at this stage.

We can quibble over whether the cards should be sellable or exchangeable or just not available once you have picked them. You won’t get much of an argument from me in that regard.
The point right now is that there’s really no reason for anyone to “accidentally” pick the same player twice. The cards are labeled. They’re labeled in the same way as your inventory. It’s not some foreign concept.

Correct this is a mistake made by a lot of the community. But if we went to the store we’re there is customer service we could return and fix the problem. I don’t think it’s that unreasonable to want to have a mistake fixed, and how bad is your life that you need to boast about not making this mistake. I feel bad for you hopefully things get better.

If they can easily program something so that this does not happen again then I am all for it, but I am not sure how much programming and development time I want to see them waste trying to program around every preventable mistake that players can make during the course of the season.
I guess one question I would have, because I honestly do not know, is if there is a reason someone would purposefully want to choose two copies of the same non-sellable card.
To me the simplest solution, without limiting people, would be a confirmation box simply stating "You already own a copy of this non-sellable card, are you sure you want to choose it again?"
