I am still baffled by how many people still are doing this? Are you just going too fast? Opening too many packs at once and having a hard time remembering? Do you not look at the card to see if it has a x1 in the corner?

To be fair, it's not like anyone at SDS could have possibly predicted the fact that some players might accidentally pick the same card twice. The only way they could possibly know is if they had looked at any of the tickets that had been pouring in for months now.

False equivalency much? The core of this problem is design. It should be fool proof. It’s not. Card can’t be sold? Remove it from future packs or pop an error dialogue up to block selection. It’s really that simple. The backlog of tickets for this single issue is more than enough proof on how it’s poorly designed. It’s not even up for debate at this stage.

We can quibble over whether the cards should be sellable or exchangeable or just not available once you have picked them. You won’t get much of an argument from me in that regard.
The point right now is that there’s really no reason for anyone to “accidentally” pick the same player twice. The cards are labeled. They’re labeled in the same way as your inventory. It’s not some foreign concept.

Correct this is a mistake made by a lot of the community. But if we went to the store we’re there is customer service we could return and fix the problem. I don’t think it’s that unreasonable to want to have a mistake fixed, and how bad is your life that you need to boast about not making this mistake. I feel bad for you hopefully things get better.

If they can easily program something so that this does not happen again then I am all for it, but I am not sure how much programming and development time I want to see them waste trying to program around every preventable mistake that players can make during the course of the season.
I guess one question I would have, because I honestly do not know, is if there is a reason someone would purposefully want to choose two copies of the same non-sellable card.
To me the simplest solution, without limiting people, would be a confirmation box simply stating "You already own a copy of this non-sellable card, are you sure you want to choose it again?"

the best way to fix this stupid problem is stop having the cards move around in the pack i should be able to just go down the line and pick instead of musical chairs on every pack opening

This I agree with but it still shows how many cards you have in the pack when you are choosing so that should be irrelevant.

Nobody is boasting. You're taking offense to anything anyone posts about simply paying more attention and slowing down. We get it, you're upset that it happened, but not everyone who comments to the contrary is attacking people who chose the wrong cards. I feel for you all, it does suck, but I've opened every choice pack in the game and never came close to picking a duplicate. I think there are a lot of people like that who just can't fathom how this KEEPS happening.

Yes it’s completely a stupid mistake from not paying attention. But it’s strange how people need to act like they could never and just don’t understand. It’s a mistake. I just don’t understand why some people have to act like they are to good to make a mistake. Hell I wish this was the worst mistake I have made lol. That’s all . Thank you for your response.
