Can we see some CPU strikes please?

The CPU pitchers at every difficulty and mode are just refusing to throw strikes now. It’s beyond annoying. I can’t spend 70 minutes/9 innings. Something changed and needs to change back.

I'm more annoyed by the cpu hitters and their aggressiveness last couple days. Doing the whitey ford moments on rookie and they swing at every single pitch in the strike zone and hit hard. And lay off every slider just off the plate. Use to be the meta was fb strike one strike two, slider swing and miss strike 3. Especially on rookie.

Heard. It also bugs me when they whiff first two. Then foul about 7-8 consecutive after that. And then, ground out. I know it’s not worth complaining about but you can tell the developers track how long users are online for and that’s got to be a reason.

Agreed on this, against Baltimore I think it was in the don't allow 3 runs complete game. I would walk the first batter (Ford's windup takes to long otherwise lol) but then the next batter would smack a opposite homerun, this happened 3 times in a row the last one was high and inside. I was glad to finally get it done on the 4th attempt.

CPU threw 25 pitches in an inning and close to 17 or 18 balls today in a conquest game and was going 3-0 almost every batter. It was taking forever

Valid. I mean, in real life. But honestly, right after I posted that, I played again tonight. Vs CPU on all star and it seemed back to normal. I little wild but not 3-0 every batter and forced walks with 0 pitches in the strike zone.

i feel like part of the problem might be in these moments, the card you're using is like the only 95+ player in the lineup? so the CPU's algorithm is probably just pitch around them and get the next person out? but turning up the amount of strikes thrown would be so nice

I play this game in the morning because that’s when I’m more calm and relaxed.MLB the show 21 I have no words this game is made to keep you playing forever.The cpu on rookie throws soo soo many ball I went to the restroom and the game was unpaused when I came back I had two men on base now explain to me why is this happening on any game mode and level as if the REAL game of baseball doesn’t drag enough they turned this one into a game I might consider not buying again 2k baseball I really miss you and Appreciate you guys for your good work years ago

These two points are probably THE most annoying aspects of this game. The next most annoying are the way too frequent double plays and diving catches.
It’s almost as if they tried to make the game as infuriating as possible.

can't throw strikes but fielders will nail every jump throw from short or third at every difficulty level with dart throws every. single. time.

Again this is an other way showing how SDS screwed up this year. They modded the CPU pitching to be harder to hit. But they did it straight across the board with EVERY pitcher the CPU controls regardless of the pitcher attributes. So what's the point of a pitcher having 90+ Control 90+ K/9 & 90+ BB/9 if he is going to pitch like having 40 Control, 40 K/9 & 40 BB/9. makes no sense & is unreal as well very frustrating. Only difference i see where attributes do matter with CPU controlled pitcher are Pitch Speed & Break
