My guess, just going too fast and not paying attention. This user probably bumrushed it.
My guess is he fumbled the controller and it smashed X on the wrong card or the dog stomped on it and accidentally picked the wrong one

Is anyone doing what I’m doing out of paranoia after seeing these posts:
- I’m fisting the right side of my controller with my thumb avoiding the buttons like the plague.
- I’m asking myself at least 3 times if I’m sure it doesn’t say “1x” in the corner.
Opening a TA selection pack is sweatier than an 11-0 BR game.

You basically do for Ohtani. I think the reason we didn't see any of these posts for team affinity 2 is because they weren't directly tied to a collection(although they help for Rivera)

luckily with me choosing ROdon twice didn't hurt me from getting ohtani
i finished all of ta3, the only one i didn't get was Jose ramirez b/c of 2x rodon...but it's ok as i was never going to use ramirez

I just made the same mistake realizing I had picked Ramirez twice and not grabbing nelson.... now we can't complete Acuna program

I check and double check and then check again to make sure. I agree that it’s not hard to not screw up, but it is kind of a dumb system. If it happened to me I’d quit

I know right dude!! It’s my biggest fear! Way more so than giving up the ol game winning no doubter! I’ve always wondered if there would be a script or something saying “hey dumbarse you picked this one already!” but never got stupidly curious enough to find out!

Nah you just gotta shell out extra stubs now to get him. You get to keep 3 cards as sellable in the collection which for me will be the Alonso and Vlad I pulled + Peralta/Mancini if I pull either from my Acuna packs. Still haven’t opened those bad boys yet cause I like to sit on those and just think about the possibility of striking gold. I like suspense.🥶

Wow, look at all the people that are so pathetic that they have to come on here and announce how they could never make the mistake of picking the same card twice. And they are so smart and everyone else is so stupid.
