Given Up on Event Games

Has anyone else more or less given up on playing event games? I really want a couple of those reward carda but there is no way I can get 25 wins when all the people you play have perfect PCI placement 100% of the time.
Players who play event games seem to never miss and while they slam homeruns with ease even if you use contact swings you are lucky to get anything more than a popout to the outfielder

I did the switch hitter one because setting my line up took 60 seconds and I got my wins early before everyone figured out the defense for poll grounds. I will not touch moonshot to save my life. Maybe if my lineup saved but it just seems like I will spend more time being annoyed than trying to have fun.
I will just buy the cards off the market with my 5M stubs lol

I'm not a great online player, but I got to 10 wins pretty easily in the Moonshot event. Until you get to 5-6 wins, the players seem to be at my skill level... Which is "average".

I have a measly 29k in stubs...I don't have the time or ability to play the market unfortunately

I am stuck at 2 wins...everyone I play has perfect placement with ease while i am lucky to get a hit. I know I suck but I used to never have this much trouble.

My fav event so far even tho its been limited cause im tryin to wait, Wait until the ta3 drops monday an then just play events as you get buncha stats for ta3. Thats my plan anyways. I played like 6 games so far to try it and im not that great at hittin an ive been puttin up least 4 runs a game i think. Just all depends who you play. Im 6-1 but i know my opponents havent been that great, they swinging at everything. Be patient
Basically wait until ta3 drop tomrrow an youll be killing 2 birds with one stone.

I quit playing last year. Before that you could wait out the first few days until all the try hards got their wins and left. Now with the reward path extending past the player reward they never leave.

It is just frustrating because I seem to not has as much trouble with RS as I do with events. I did the same thing as you in years past, dont play until a day or two has passed then you dont have to worry about playing the guys with records of 230-10 lol

I just finished 40 wins today and took a break to play Valhalla with the wife. It took me maybe 70 games to get 40 wins. The matchmaking is terrible especially in the evenings. Like you said some guys just don't miss. If I get matched with someone who is next level I just give them the win and move on to the next.
Of the actual games I've played I'm probably 40-20 I'm not that good. Just be patient, they are common pitchers sit fastballs high and inside and react to sliders low and in and changeups low and away, eventually they will hang something. Give them high and away, don't even focus on that area that's what I've done. When they catch on then you can bet in 2 strike counts you will get a high and away fastball, then you hit it.

Just saying man, but nobody IRL actually cares about how you good are at The Show. Trying to lie about your record to inflate your c**k size on TSN boards looks pathetic af. Making a conscious decision to troll on TSN boards with your spare time is equally pathetic.
