I've played 200+ RS games, topped out at 750, I have practiced, hitting is garbage now

1 day ago- Everyone was so happy they were finally going to nerf contact swings... Today- The people who have been contact swinging the whole time are now complaining about exit velos on regular swings hahaha. I knew it was coming!!

None of these guys crying in this thread will come out and say they suck because they can’t use contact swing.

We purchase with coins earned or for some with real $$ buying stubs better, higher rated players to improve our teams and players hitting attributes. It has been easy to see a nerfing of hitting abilities all year. 1) Suddenly that 82 MPH slider is 81 or 80 MPH, 2) ANOTHER CH-UP?? 3) Six CB's in a row? 4) Every pitch is on the black or just off the plate 5) The nano second location change of a pitch ect ect. Not to mention the double plays and dying warning path fly outs OR the spectacular diving catch or robbing of HR's. We play/grind the games to gain rewards (Programs 4th inning Affinity Player Programs etc etc) Hitting aids achievements that is how you get rewards (players Packs ect ect). This community requested a further nerfing of their own abilities to profit. Well, you got what you wanted and now MLB DD becomes more and more tarnished as is every Madden game because of CPU cheating. Did I mention the AI locked animations already in the game hahahahaha The way HR's go out in real life, MLB was not exaggerating the potential of contact swings. How many broken bat HR's have we witnessed in real life? Too many to count as is the case with oppo field HRs. MLB had the contact swing correct, the loudest in the community were not satisfied. At everyone's expense including their own. I just don't understand the logic behind it. It is a video game predicated on CPU AI advantages over the user. Heck, it will save SDS a lot NOT to have to dispense free packs players coins and rewards and that at the request of the community! JSMH That is my humble opinion.

What are you talking about? I've been hitting [censored] PCI homeruns all weekend in the event. Just use "x". It doesnt seem like anything has changed with regular swing

Where have they fixed Contact hitting? Still seeing the same weak dribblers and dinkers off bad timing and bad pci placement .

I've only played in the event since the patch, so I'm not sure if its just the result of moonshot or not but for me and my opponents it seems like when we have good pci placement its a lazy fly ball.
And when we have bad placement, like the pci not even touching the ball, its a home run.
And every perfect flyball and majority of perfect line drives have been bombs, seen someone say perfects are usually outs, no clue what that person is talking about lol

I’ve now played maybe 6-7 games and in about 5 of those the players I was facing were contact swingers. I’m now up to 730 in RS (highest since 21) as I’ve used normal swing for last 2/3 weeks to get used to it again
People squaring up contact swinging and they’re not even reaching the warning track. Just how it should be. You’ll always get bloop singles from contact swinging. It won’t nerf “luck”
I feel I’m hitting quite well since the patch - or it’s the fact pinpoint has been nerfed as well?

Contact swing has most definitely been nerfed therefore it is better. Normal swing has not been touched. Its a good update amd things are looking up as far as hitting goes.
