I couldnt pitch with his potm card after bringing him as a PH. It said position player on the mound and couldnt exit out without bringing in a pitcher.

At least he's in the game. Shogo Akiyama is still not found anywhere...

I’d like to clarify I think the OP is talking about online rated, not DD. In online rated, when you are using him to pitch you can always have in in your hitting lineup as well. If you are in an AL park with a DH, just start someone terrible at 1B you don’t mind not using for the whole game and put him in the spot you want Ohtani to hit (2nd or what have you). At DH put who you want to be your first baseman (Walsh probably). Then when the game starts do a defensive sub and move your DH to 1B. It will get rid of the DH and Ohtani will move into that spot in the order.

Yea that’s true but 4 times out of 5 if he’s not pitching you can’t do that and use him....LoL it’s just an inconvenience ... Like why wouldn’t they make him a 2 way player in the game with them knowing very well 1. He’s popular, 2. The Dude can straight Rake and 3. He’s the only 2 way player in the game(besides Shogo)... i just don’t get it, I’m sure it wouldn’t be that hard for them to patch it.

Yea at the time though he wasn’t in game ShoGo……..And Ohtani only Leads the Major Leagues in Homeruns!!! (31) and they still haven’t addressed why we can’t use him in Lineup as DH or why they they won’t fix this…not one response…but they’ll answer posts about TV.s FPS and HDR …a Complete Joke!!!
