I'm still on MLB 19 and on the fence about 20. Are the programs similar to last years, with Moments, etc? One of my biggest qualms about 19 is that some cards (i.e. Signature Series Ty Cobb) you couldn't get through Moments, and could only get through Ranked Seasons, etc. or pay an arm and a leg for them on the market (which sucks, as I'm a huge Tigers fan). Money's a little tight given current events, so I can't afford a PS Plus subscription at the moment.

Also, how is the hitting this year in DD? I've watched the dev demos and things like that, but I want to hear it from y'all's perspective. How is the new system & PCI working out? Is MLB 20 worth the buy? Thanks.

Hitting is effectively the exact same as 19 (entirely random outcomes from good input) with just a pretty much meaningless perfect designation. Do not believe what you saw on dev demos, as they reverted what they showed off a few days after release

It is essentially 19 with worse pitching. Thanks Brian @SDS.

I've been on the fence myself. But so many people have told me not to buy 20. So I'm going to stick to 19 until they acrual take gameplay seriously.

Me too. So glad I saved my money this year. I got no prob playing 19 to get my fix since it’s all random outcomes anyway. Least on 19 I have a baller [censored] team to pretend to be good with.

Don't waste your money. Its no different from The Show 19 in its current state. Whatever aspect of the game is most important to you, I can promise you its not working properly

At this point in time, dont touch '20 with a ten foot pole. If they want to revert patch 1.04 and fix pitching then to balance hitting? Grab it up. That would be a heck of a game and fun.

I would suggest you not bother unless they address the hitting pitching and defense because they are all a complete mess. The games really really really bad.
