I like how everyone assumes that an update has to be coming. Has SDS acknowledged that contact swing is a problem or a bug that needs to be fixed?

Go check last update note and you will see sds talking about it.

There are no hitting or gameplay balance changes in this update, however, we have been following the feedback and hope to have some adjustments made to contact hitting (and more) in future updates.

I don't know why they taking so long to send that update. In hall of fame everybody is contact swinging like crazy, i try contact swinging and i felt dirty. Contact swinging is to op.

As I lose 5-0 in BR on 7 straight very bad contact swings where the ball just landed in no man's land late - yes - this update can't come soon enough. Makes me happy knowing the days are numbered. I try to take solace in it.

I stop playing ranked season because of that, its just crazy how people's take advantage of anything in this game.

I just use normal swing and play my game. If they nerf contact swing cool with me. If not no sweat off my back.

I guess you haven't play a with a toxic player contact swinging the whole games. Hitting bombs and getting rewards with stupid hits.

I've definitely played people contact swinging. It's out my control so I just try to make my pitches

Well we don't know how easy or difficult of a fix it is. What seems simple to us may actually be very complicated. They have far more ramifications to consider with these changes than the players do.
And I guarantee that, if they change it, just like check swings, there will be just as many people who hate the change as there are people who love it.

The keywords there are FUTURE UPDATES.
It's going to take the awhile to fix it without messing up hitting completely. And I don't think it will happen in one update. It will be multiple.updates. -

You seemed to answer your own question. They arent gonna just sit on a fix and not release it. Sounds like you want them to release something before it is ready that could mess the game up worse.
