No, I think that’ll be his last card.
-
Yes he will get a final version card later on this year

Thanks. Follow-up question: Do you think his value will rise or fall over the next few months?

Next few months it’ll stay about the same unless he’s needed for a big collection but when they release the final inning program his price will plummet because everyone will be able to earn him & all the bosses again.

Will continue to rise (as supply limits), especially if another Rivera-type collection drops.
... until they re-release the 1st Inning Boss pack in some capacity. Then ...

I think he’s an interesting case. That year for the card is the best of his career. Makes me think we won’t get another one. (They could do a no-hitter card, I guess).

Definitely an interesting case. If I recall correctly, most of the early inning bosses from last year got better cards later on. I can see Fernandomania getting a milestone card for the no hitter.

I’m not an avid collector, so I usually only obtain the best card of a player (i.e. if I get a 99 Mantle, I’ll sell the lower versions).
Do you guys think a higher-rated Fernando Valenzuela will come out this year at some point?
Yes Fernando will get a Signature ... count on it. Too much money involved with Dodger fans.
I would pay 5 million for a Fernando signature. How about the a No Hitter card?

It's also odd that it is a rookie card, rather than a Cy Young or Rookie of the Year awards card for that season. Because of that, they may have a Signature or Prime card released later.

I just don’t think he was a good enough player to get multiple good cards. He had a great 5 year run but only won 1 cy young & isn’t a hall of famer. Very solid player but just not elite.

I don't think Jasson Dominguez should get a card.
