Should I buy 20?

It’s not just hitting that’s bad. The game is literally putting your pitches right down the middle regardless of what you do.
Errors are still controlling momentum swings, at no fault to the player.
Trash hits being rewarded.
Good hits are being nerfed.
Showdown is scripted.
-
Give it at least until next week to see if we'll get a gameplay patch, but don't get your hopes up.
-
Online is atrocious, all aspects.
-
I’d probably wait. Pack odds are trash, gameplay is terrible, and crickets from the devs.

I just played a RS game in 19 and Griffey had 3 errors in RF. LOL. How are they so bad at this?

So I usually buy the show every year but 19 frustrated me so much that I decided to wait and see how things went with 20 before I bought. Looks to me like the hitting is broken again and I'm debating on if I should buy 20 or stick to 19 and skip this year. I still have a ton to grind on 19 and am comfortable with the way there game plays so I'm cool with sticking with 19.
I REALLY don't want to go through another year of shakingy my head because the game play is so bad. I'll never buy another MLBTS game until it's fixed and I'm ok with that.
Thoughts?
Don't buy it...i think I may actually hate this game...it truly breaks my heart to say that.

It pains me to say it, but I think I'm going to skip it this year. Or wait for a deep deep sale. It just seems like no changes have been made to the core gameplay and SDS just slapped on a new coat of paint. Like they keep the gameplay the same and have the entire staff work on creating new content for the game. And I'm saying this with NO baseball to watch and the season delayed. I just really think SDS doesn't deserve my $ if they're not actually going to care about how the game plays.

Oh changes have been made...just all for the worse...i can't emphasize enough how bad the game plays...it is terrible.

No save your money and time. I am not spending any money on stubs this year because it's not worth it.

The sad part is that just a week ago, I was playing a very solid baseball game. Sure, there were some issues, but the main complaint (pitching) was addressed by implementing a patch to hitting. I won't say hitting was completely flawless, but it was at least based on skill. All that SDS needed to do was make pitching based on user input and allow more time for CS and WS level players to actually reach those divisions.
SDS saw a problem with hitting and offense being too OP. After all, most games were pretty high scoring, but you'd expect that with a video game. They failed to realize that A) the majority of people were playing on AS difficulty (which is typically for the average player), and B) a huge contributing factor to these high scoring games was that pitches would be hung over the plate regardless of user input. Their solution was to jump the gun and make hitting "harder" by making it more random and completely disregard pitching.
The consequence? A large majority of the player base is now pissed off and you have 11 different people recommending to not waste your money on this game
