SDS only targeted you because they knew you would buy stubs from them!
Come on, man! Seriously? You are going to try to blame that on the game and SDS?
I didn't buy stubbs, I grinded them, it's their game. Yup sds
Like that matters! You are crying and whining on this forum because he didn't pay attention to the market and blame SDS and the game even though they have no control over the market (the players control the market)!
Sounds like your crying. The market='s their game. They have been ripping people off for years
no bud.... you are the one crying and whining about something that makes zero sense, because we the players are the only factors in those prices... it has NOTHING to do with SDS. If that is something that bothers you... you might want to find a different game to buy, because what you experienced is all part of the mode... you overpayed for a card and now your pouting about it.... toughen up Jr.

Ok, so if youāre stopped at a red light and I rear end you, that means itās your fault? Never mind that I wasnāt paying attention to what I was doing. By your logic it has to be your fault, because itās your car that I ran into.

Lmaooooooooooo, this isn't logical, this is below 80 iq [censored]...ommmmmg
Comparing a cartoon where a company rips off players for money(um look at their stubs section to purchase them)like cod did for years and real life fender benders on cars. Ommmggg....Biden has another meeting you need to attend bro...

At least if you are going to troll and be stupid on the forums, can you please spell stubs right?

Thanks for the correction Mr English teacher. I corrected it but I really could care less. Egghead remarks are so grey

I did not even know there was a flash sale, however I know that each card has the potential to become more or less expensive depending on the people playing the game and how they are listing their sell and buy orders. Ya, SDS created the fame so it was an open market, but you have your fellow gamers to thank for spikes and valleys, not SDS. I laugh when there is a specific card I'm looking into buying or selling and how some people just hundreds or even thousands of subs above or below the next bid. For instances look at Mike Trout! He was up to 600k and if you look down the list there was not a line of players wanting him at that price it is one or a handful of people that go on and drive up the price because they don't care what they pay they just want him asap and said here take 600k I need him. There were listings for him maybe 10 spots down for almost 100 k less!!! My point is that it is the gamers that change the price of these cards, unless they change from silver to gold or gold to silver blah blah. So when cards spike up like crazy just be patient look at the listings and see if there is a few people offering that much or if the card did really increase in value and now is higher priced for a while. But odds are for most cards spikes are temporary and they will level out again, just be patient!!! So far that hasn't lead me astray and I'm a first year player myself. Definitely takes time to learn the whole aspect of the game!

So with next update we are suggesting to get rid of sliders from pitchers because they are deceiving and we want to get rid of the market and every card will have a fixed value assigned so that no one is deceived into paying more than value. Cool. Thanks for making the game better.

They put market caps on cards so actually prevent price gouging

Bro. Iām not exactly pro SDS but the amount of decent cards and stubs they give you for FREE is amazing compared to the someone like EA.
Get a grip.

Another thing I use as a resource is the graph that shows what their marketplace value has done over time. That gives you an idea of what their average price has been. So if I see a guy has spiked up however much I wait to see if he stays there or goes back down.
The only reason I don't see it as a rip off is because I see how stupid some players are in really driving up prices of some cards. At the same time though I think it would be even worse if SDS had a cap on each card... letting us gamers set the price of each card makes it unique and allows the market to be competitive at times and slow at other times...
