I understand why guys play at shippett.

If you are playing on legend I think it’s a legit reason to play at shippett exclusively.
Last game I lose 8-5 and I felt no matter the score I was in it but my opponent was just too good. Kudos to getting Valenzuela out of game.
High in sinkers we’re no longer meta although still effective.
I just wish all stadiums could play with less lag as shippett is just so ugly and lifeless.

Try yankee stadium. Traveled there one time and noticed the smoothest gameplay (i was so surprised I have around 150 games played).
I will forever pick yankee stadium unfortunately but worth it.

play at shibe then its a bandbox also

The reason why people play at shippett has nothing to do with the homers as that happens at many parks. It's the lack of lag and the batter eye. Kid's pick these god awful stadiums that lag in the middle of swings and then proceed to do the balk move all game and not allow the batter interface to catch up.

All MiLB stadiums are good vs lag; it’s the elevation combined with normal dimensions that make people use it; let’s not pretend it’s anything else.

No if a stadium has a lot to render then it causes lag. Shippett has a lot less to render therefore plays smoother. The elevation is a bonus.

Keep telling yourself that; funny, nobody picks Majestic Greens

magestic greens also plays laggy as does capital field, ironhorse and many other stadiums. Your only real argument here is date palm. People could play at date palm and play a smoother game than every where minus shippet. Only people who can't hit don't like shippett.

I play on a monitor and straight connection ….never noticed the lag…are you talking about the pci when you are moving it to hit?

yes.. the pci lags through the zone at the beginning of an at bat on the older ps4's. It will clear up usually after the first pitch but a balk mover can cause it to lag even more. I don't know how the ps5's or xbox's do tho..
i have an acer 1 ms monitor too..

Plenty other stadiums (minors) don’t play laggy; people don’t complain about not hitting, they complain about variety. It’s not like it’s the first year; after 4-5 yes people get worn out of the same old stadium.

Why does the ambience matter? Who cares what the stadiums look like as long they play well. Shippett is the best playing stadium and you aren't even arguing against that. I would argue that date palm is the next one in line but being rewarded for good swings also goes into why people play at shippett. There aren't that many non laggy stadiums including minor league ones.

I can't hit and this is precisely why I play at Shippett, need all the help I can get. and when I actually do square one up I want to do some damage

Played there a couple times and it was a home run derby

My pci did this, plugged my controller in never happened again.

I honestly notice absolutely zero difference in performance between major league and minor league stadiums. Maybe I just have a much better connection than the average player lol.
-
I’m trying to figure out when someone quick pitches over and over no matter how quick I swing I can’t catch up. It’s like playing a different game. Is that my internet or stadium or what? I play on an old PS4 with a monitor and hardwired internet

I always use it over shippett to be "different" but really the same degenerate

The lag in big league stadiums/stadiums with lots of background to render has nothing to do with connection only hardware. I’ve heard ps5 is better but on my PS4 big league stadiums lag like crazy

Date Palm Field best field
