Because I’m reading it in green as “until”

I realize the boosts until the 29th. But in green I read it differently.

I understand that. Yes, you keep the card. I have two in my inventory now, but the one from moments will say "no sell" from the moment you earn him.

Why would it be too good to be true? Player programs are already at this overall and it’s basically the same thing.

Because 1 is a no sell and thee other you can sell. Previous to today everyone that has bought him id be a little irked. But, I have seen this before and everyone was pissed at sds.
I could care less I’m just wondering if I get to keep him for good so that I don’t have to buy him…

You can't sell other player program cards, outside of the topps now cards. They did this last year with Tatis when he "broke an unwritten rule" by swinging with 3 balls. You keep him, people are mad because reading is hard.

You can lock him into the prospect collection so yes you can keep him. He just goes back to a 91 next week. Not sure why it’s so hard to understand

SDS, in my opinion, messed up. I earned the prospect card through moments and according to the website it is a No Sell card. It is clear that that did not want the boosted version to be sellable.

But it looks like they also boosted previously earned Franco cards to 99 and left them as sellable. That is messed up. On the website the card simply has a note that says "Limited Time - Ends June 29". That makes me think that it is a limited edition card that you won't be able to earn after June 29th and not a card whose stats will be reverted in one week.

There is no way this card which will revert to a 91 in a week would be going for 70K to 80K if people were not mistaken.

You've got to remember there are a TON of 12-15 year olds using the forums. Take it for what it is and move on. It's not your job to argue with them, they'll figure it out when it's August and he's still in their inventory.

I did the moments and got him, but this was dirty by SDS. No way you should be able to sell him AS A 99 if he isn't going to remain a 99. I do not blame those that have sold him as a 99, this is on SDS. He should show as a 91 on the market (or whatever he was). For those who buy him, this could be the dirtiest thing SDS has ever done, intentional or not. They need to keep him as a 99 now.

So Its SDS fault that people are buying him despite both him being available in moments and him only being 99 for a week are on the home screen and the first thing you see when logging in?

It is not clear what will happen. A casual player is not going to research a 99 they see on the market. Everyone does not read Twitter. When I first seen it I thought it meant the Moments would only be there until the 29th. Thats how many people are reading it OBVIOUSLY. No one is intentionally buying a card that is going to lose skills in a week. I realize you do not care about anyone but yourself, but surely you see the problem here. .

So you are saying people should log in, with this image the first thing they see, and feel as though they are ripped off for paying for the card? I get where you are coming from, I really do. But it is laid out pretty clearly

It does not say he will go back to a 91 in a week, does it?

Limited time attribute boosts until June 29th.

    What would you prefer?

"Hey dip stick, this card will be a 91 again next week"

I would prefer that he can't be sold as a 99. That is totally not fair to anyone, and there are many, that did not realize he would drop to a 91. I didnt even buy him myself, but I see how someone could make this mistake because he is listed on the market as a 99.

Remarkable. The game gives you a free 91 prospect card that's needed for collections, and was limited in supply. They then boost his attributes to celebrate the fact that he's been the #1 prospect in baseball for the past two years. And they give him away for free by doing 5 super easy moments.

And here comes you, complaining about it.

Obviously, that is not what I am complaining about. I am standing up for those who are not here in this discussion because you cheats love that you ripped people off. Read back through this thread and look. Everyone knew they were ripping someone off. Way to go community. And now you defend SDS for allowing him on the market as a 99. You are pathetic.

Lol cry more. I’ve got no sympathy for people who are too lazy to read. I sold Wander for 96k and my only regret is not getting to the market earlier when he was going for 140k

There should always be a penalty for being dumb and lazy.

The moments aren't even that hard and that price is not worth it for a week of him being a 99.

The weird part of this is that the original card was boosted as well, not just the free no-sell moments card. I suspect if the original card on the market stayed a 91 no one would have been tempted to part with huge stubs and would have just gone to do the moments if they wanted to play with the boosted-but-free-limited-time-version of the card. That would have solved any controversy. I guess it's got to be congratulations to those who had the original card and sold it for a bumper profit. As the card was boosted and remained on the market, totally fair game for sudden inflation, but for sure if I was at SDS I would have done it differently to avoid this weirdness of one 99 being no-sell and the other 99 being sell.

Imagine being this mad about something that’s so blatantly obvious; yet people are ok with signing contracts with half-pages filles with tiny characters that nobody reads…

Almost as cry baby as the “I picked the same card twice” crowd…

Here’s my plea to SDS to just leave it at 99. It’s a super fun card, this is a video game, and who cares really? Not everyone will use it anyway. But let’s get some excitement in the game for some of the newer players the way we get the 99’s for the older players. We don’t always have to wait until later. Plenty of other guys (Tatis, Trout, Acuna, etc) we can “wait” for their cards. Plus it’s a free card to the community for all the [censored] we’ve gone through in addition to the pack they gave us. Sure I’m one of the guys that locked mine in for collections but who cares really? It’s one card.

I can't believe this is the hill you're dying on.

    1. Earn (free) the prospect card for a temporary boost.
    2. image shows the 91 to 99 boost

Basic reasoning says that you'll get the free 91 card that will be temporarily boosted which then becomes unboosted after the 29th.

If people can't reason THAT without it needing to be spelled out in words then they need to be wearing a bib, helmet, and drink from a sippy cup.

    You. Need. Help.

eh maybe. I'm just tired of seeing people only here to complain about the game. There are very few posts about the positive aspects of the game, and if anyone suggests that things sometimes work as they should, they're attacked and called fan boys.

Why should I take this place seriously if no one else does? it's just an easy form of entertainment for me at this point.

You can't sell the one that you earn through moments. It is no sell. It is why I think they screwed up the release as it makes no sense that they would make this card no sell but allow those who already had the card to sell their boosted version.
