I literally just bought the inferno last week. Took a few games to get used to but I do feel i have better control. I used the advice of others and just use it on the left thumb only.

If you can get used to it, not a bad idea on the right stick too. Preserve the life of the thumbstick of your controller. I’d rather pay 15-20 bucks each time my KF is worn out than a new controller

No worries bud! I quickly learned they’re much more than just a comfort thing. They literally extend your controllers life

I used to go through tons of kontrol freaks when I was on the PS4 but when I switched to Xbox Series X, I actually found the controller to be perfect as is and have had great success without the need for any Kontrol freaks.

I use a high purple galaxy and a resistance band on the left stick only. Works pretty well for me.

I kinda changed my game with the PS5 and pinpoint pitching. I find PP easier with no riser on R stick. So I leave that bare. L stick I like a low as possible riser, and these are the 2 lowest I have so I use them.

It’s a band that goes around the stick so it’s a little harder to move. It’s helpful for this game since the PCI is so sensitive.

I keep giving them a try but they make fielding difficult. I really have to wrench on the stick for fielders to move quickly

I agree, it’s annoying for fielding.

Thanks guys. I think I'll probably go with the high rise type. Seems like that might help with yanking the PCI too far in any one direction. I'll probably still be horrible but it's worth a shot.

They also sell these foam rings that help a lot with what you’re talking about. I have the same problem being too aggressive on the joystick. Get the green “soft” ones the other ones are too thick. I do like some of the joystick attachments you’re referring to but they won’t help much with this.

Thanks man, I appreciate the advise. I think I will get some those, it does seem like those would definitely help with yanking the pci too much. Curious though, do those slow you down any with quick reactions and such defensively?

Mine do. I gotta wrench on the stick to move my fielders.

Yeah that's my concern with those things. I don't want it to negatively effect me in the field. If it's not too bad though the benefits with the pci placement could outweigh the negative. Worth giving em a shot I guess.

Yea the black and purple ones definitely do but they recently came out with the “soft” green ones which have worked just right for me
