Any chance we could get decent Event rewards sometime?

It's not a huge issue, but wanted to bring it up. I know some people on here have said that Event rewards have always been pretty underwhelming, and I get that.
But why not have better rewards? For me, Events can be a fun, less-intense and shorter way to enjoy online play than RS. However, when the rewards are THIS bad, I've found myself avoiding the mode for the most part as time is better spent elsewhere. It would be nice to have just one really good reward each event to grind toward. Not Olerud or Markakis.

There has not been any Event rewards that are at least good yet. Hopefully we get better rewards soon.

Smoltz/Miggy first couple weeks were good but that's about it

I think Events has the potential to be a great middle ground between sweaty, 9-inning RS games and offline grinding against the CPU, which can get repetitive and boring. But instead we have these useless Event rewards that make it completely not worth anyone's time. It's a very underutilized mode.

Events make me sad this year. Last couple years events were by far my favorite mode, and would grind every event til I reached the end of the reward path. This year I have only played one event (for the 42 pack). The rewards have been uninspiring, and too many of the events on HOF, which is not as fun this year.

You kidding? Olerud is a doubles machine. Granted I can’t ever string two hits, so he’ll get stranded at second a lot, but that should count for something.

I think if you put some time into it the event rewards are very easily attainable, therefore they shouldn’t be as high tier cards as making WS or Flawless in BR.
Last year we did get 99 Goose in the events though so I’m sure as the year goes on they will get better.

I mean I haven't used him obviously so I wouldn't know. But the numbers don't scream starting 1B to me, especially since I have a paralleled Freeman who rakes.

HOF doesn’t seem bad on the current event. Not sure if it’s just me, but my games have almost all been more than a few runs and more offense in general. Might also be that even though it’s HOF we get the benefit of righties against lefties and I don’t find the lefty pitchers that intimidating or at least less than the next phase where we will see a lot of Dibble, Goose, Cabrera, etc. I’m going to try and get as many wins as possible before next week at least (18 right now).

Events, for me, are just a way to get free packs, stubs, and a couple guaranteed Diamonds to fill collections when the time comes.. no complaints from me

This is how I approach it. I don't expect great rewards to be here. I'm going in for the packs along the way and the free flashback/legends that can be used for collections or sold for stubs.
Best reward so far was the 42 pack from the Jackie event.

Offline only and only when you don't really need them (like only needing 1 TB for a moment but you smash a double after failing 4x because you needed a double....)
