What difficulty are you playing on? He was hitting like .450 for me from selecting him in BR across like 80 at bats and he his down to .220 from playing on legend difficulty mainly.
If I see a guy hitting above .300 with Soriano I put the bunt defense on immediately.

I've been hearing a lot of people complain about him, even some of the best players in the game say his swing is not good. I haven't noticed it honestly, I'm hitting well over .400 with him online.

HOF and Legend, haven’t used him in events or BR and he’s hitting above .300 for me all in RS
His swing does seem like a longer one but I tell myself to compensate for that when hitting with him by trying to be a little more early. I feel like people pitch him inside almost every AB so I sit there and it’s paid off

I do the exact same thing. My approach is to pull the ball hard on an early swing and usually that compensates for making it a good swing.

My perception and experience is skewed because of how little I play online. I rake with him. Once I finished NLC ALE and ALW TA s2 -- he'll be back in the lineup.
I have him slotted third with two speedsters in the 1 and 2 holes. One of them typically gets on base and puts the pitcher in a position to throw more heat at Soriano to avoid a stolen base.

One of those things. Im batting .200 with chipper but every other player in my lineup is between .350-.400 including Soriano. I personally like his swing though

I use him off my bench bc i am hitting .180 with him but I like using him as a pinch runner who maybe gets one at bat. I such every year with trout as well but i am at least hittin .220 against lefties with him

He rakes think I am at .460 with over 40 HR with him. Great card

I hit about 300 with the card, but that’s because I am terrible.

Took me a long time to get his swing down, i was actually working towards grady to replace him. But when i went on my ws run, he was my second best hitter behind chipper, against both righties and lefties. He just clicked for me; story too. Cant see getting soriano, ortiz, chipper story or even finley out of my lineup anytime soon

I’m hitting .187 with him and he’s a 99. Other people that I play that have him are doing similarly and the highest BA I’ve seen is .205. He can’t hit and he is the best all around card in the game. This needs to be fixed.
Ha! I can't hit with him either. All my other players are a couple hundred points higher in BA. Can't figure it out.

Papi is great. I'm ok with Chipper facing lefties but not righties. It is weird. You basically have to just guess and get lucky with Soriano. I've left him in my lineup because he is fast.
