I was so disappointed in myself over the weekend. I won 8 straight to get to ~880, lost my WS game and then proceeded to lose the next 5 games. I completely fell apart and lost over 100 points. It was like a switch got flipped and all of the sudden I couldn't do anything right. I would appreciate any suggestions but as for now, on to the next season.

I'm with you. All day yesterday I was win 1 lose 1 between 800 and 830. The thing is I don't feel as though I was cheated out of any of my losses, I just didn't play well enough

100%, I lost those 6 games fair and square. My pitching got me those 8 straight with multiple CGSO and my hitting was barely there. Then in those losses I let up a run or two, sometimes more, and my hitting wasn't there to bail me out. I should have taken a break after the first loss but I was angry and stubborn.

Yea it’s tough especially with the new rule this year that you play up on legend if you play a WS player. I got in WS last night but I battled all weekend kept hovering between 850-895 I lost 5 games when I was one win away. I choked away 2 of them and then lost the other ones in like 2-1 pitcher duels. It’s definitely tougher than years past so it does feel like an achievement.

I was in pennant race and the rng and maybe 1 or two slightly off target pitches lost me a 7-2 lead. I still need practice but it just felt so annoying seeing it happen.

I really wish I could take my DD team into a custom practice vs whatever pitchers I want on legend with sliders cranked. It is just not the same playing custom practice with normal cards.

That is the worst! When you watch your big lead just deteriorate through multiple different pitchers and end up losing. Those ones hurt way more.

@Chestnuts20_PSN jr_stros has a roster in the vault with all the good dd players to use in custom practice.. Use the Astros and play against the angels every time.

Yea I’ve been asking for like a practice mode inside of DD for years. It would be so nice to just easily be able to take your players in and practice with their swing or just to warm up your real team on legend before jumping into ranked.

finally decided to go for it was at 875 or so yesterday won my first then proceeded to fluctuate between 870-898 then finally had a guy quit while I was up 4-0 in the 7th. hardest thing was my games were 6-5,2-1,3-1,6-5, idk the next one and finally won 4-0. it drained my pen as in any game to win the world series I wasnt scareed to go to the pen and roll out goose or chapman/smith if needed. tough break on your. part man but youre def there in the mix so yeah new season. really dont seem to need any help since youre at 880 which you cant stumble. into. just dont feel pressured its a video game and just another game. getting lucky for that game is a big deal as I got a guy using someone not named glavine/lee/corbin

I honestly think it's psychological as much as anything. When you're winning your confidence is up, you're more relaxed, you're playing better and not pressing. Then you lost a WS play-in game and now you start pressing, worrying about how many extra games it's going to take to get in to WS, etc. I have had it happen more time than I care to remember. I think I'm like 3-7 all time in WS play-in games.

There are rosters with all the players that are now in DD.

Download the lateat using online ID JR_Stros and practice against those pitchers.

Pitchers are in the Angels and Hitters in the Astros, if you want to practice hitting make the Angels the away team and vice versa.

    Good luck next season

The biggest issue for me was playing 2 games on legend, then 1 on HoF, then 1 on legend, etc. That back and forth messed me up so much on my timing and there is no way to prepare for it because you don't know what difficulty you will be playing on next.

Making to WS is harder this year, you’ll have to play some games on legend on your way up and probably face a pitching cap. If you lost your WS game don’t go for the 2nd right away. Take a break, relax, do BP and practice whaf you failed to do in your previous game.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but you weren't in your ws game. You would have recieved 14 to 16 points unless you were playing someone really good. If you can get to 880 tho,, you will get to ws tho my dude. Just keep at it and don't let the wall get to you. It took me 3 seasons of making 875 or higher before i finally made it and i still don't make it every season.

I lost 21 points for it so I assumed if I won I would get 21 and be in WS. But... I do appreciate the encouragement! Next season I will get my WS icon back for the first time in about 2-3 years. I am going to will it into existence!

I had 4 play in games this weekend. All 4 against Cabrera, 3 of them on legend. I really hate Cabrera. No one to blame but myself
