He's not being a wiseguy. He's just stating that everyone knows the patch was bad because there's about 10-15 new posts EVERYDAY about it.
Could he have worded it better? Yes. But we don't need ANOTHER thread about the patch being bad.
At least until the season starts, if it does, we don't have to see the hundreds of threads asking when the Roster Update drops.

I don’t like the hitting either, but I don’t hate the whole game because of it. They’ll tune some stuff, it’s just frustrating on occasion, but it’s baseball, which we don’t have a whole lot of that right now so I’ll take what I can get
