Same here. I can only do one moment in black and white before I need a break. I use meter pitching it’s really hard to see the meter bar on the way back down as it blends in with the top of the meter.

The one thing that hurts my eyes is this year's attribute screen. The movement in the attribute bars over 100 makes me feel ill lol

You're complaining about the game doing a throw back theme, on forums. If I assumed your age, and I was wrong, I'd be scared if I were you. If you're 40 + and complaining about throw back immersion......

This is just a bad take. I’m pretty sure the point of the forums is to discuss the game. Period.
I have been playing this game since 2013 and on the forums since maybe 2016, and I think probably more than 50% of the forum posts are complaints or suggestions. Compared to some of the stuff I’ve been seeing on here lately, I think my post was pretty tame.
Also, I just looked through some of your other recent posts. I see you are just trolling lots of different posts. I should have known.

You guys would probably get along in real life lolI hadn’t played the game in the past two years and when I came back to the forums this year I was like wow this is toxic. It’s amazing to me how many people have so little going on in their life that they have time to just sit trolling others. Between work and raising two kids, playing this game is a luxury. I don’t have time (or literally any desire at all) to squabble with trolls on here. But, that’s what I get for creating a post I suppose

I just got here last year (MLB20). It does seem much more contentious this year than last. Like you, I’m a working professional and married with kids, yet there’s a quality that seems to draw me in like I’m sure it does for others - likely fulfills some type of social engagement that we miss from being increasingly digital. Yes, I should probably spend less time on these forums myself!

I think I like the forums because I learn stuff here and because I just enjoy communicating with others who play the game. Most of my friends irl have no interest in going to a baseball game, let alone playing a baseball video game.
But yeah, some people make it tough to continue coming on here. There used to be a downvote button on the forums, years ago, and it helped establish someone’s reputation. They took it out because it was getting abused. I wish it was still there sometimes lol….

Is there a way to turn off the black and white saturation in moments from the past? I want to play all of them in just normal coloration. This is very distracting and makes it difficult to play these moments.
I guess it’s a decent idea and cool for about a minute to play in this black and white mode. I can pitch ok. But when you have to move fielders and track the ball in the field good luck.

In all of your posts in this thread you are acting extremely childish, which is funny since you're making assumptions about Pox's age. It is possible to disagree with someone on the forum without acting like a tool. If you were trying to be funny...it didn't work.
Also, the moments are from 1962-1963, which was just before color TV's become popular a few years later. There are plenty of highlights of Juan Marichal in color. An on/off toggle is not an unreasonable request, and it should be incredibly easy to implement.

I thought the black and white filter was a cool addition the first time I saw it back in 19 with the Babe Ruth moments, but at this point the novelty has worn off for me. I found it a little annoying when playing all of those moments back to back yesterday, and there really is no reason for there not to be an on/off toggle.
The main issue for most people is that it makes the ball a little harder to see along with some of the meters/indicators. If you like the novelty of it, there are still little things that make it feel off. We're playing in a modern park instead of a retro one like Polo Grounds from the Ruth moments. The fans also wear modern clothing which clashes with the black and white aesthetic. Having the fans wear time appropriate clothing would be pretty cool, although I understand that would be a lot of work that probably wouldn't be worth the trouble for a few moments. I can't actually see SDS devoting resources to something like that anytime soon. Film grain would also make it more immersive, although that would make seeing even more difficult.
I just feel that they should either commit to it all the way, or give you the option to turn it off. As it stands right now, it feels a little half-assed.
