They did a 30/30 milestone card for Shawn green??? Are u serious??? I love that they’re doing single game feats for some of the milestones, but how do they miss this one?! When I saw they were doing single game I immediately thought of the eventual 99 Shawn green for his 4 homer game…guess that’s not happening

Right?! Don’t get me wrong, this Shawn green is still gonna be nasty, but it should’ve been for a different milestone. Hopefully they at least get Kerry wood’s right down the road

Lou Gehrig, Willie Mays, Mike Schmidt, Scooter Gennet and JD Martinez are the other cards that could have a 4 HR milestone card. My money is on Scooter cuz you know how dumb SDS is!!

Why is it a waste? a power bat with speed and decent defense. They were never giving him a 99 4 homer game card. He may have gotten a 97 at best.

4 HR in one game is insane. That’s a good week for most hitters. Hell, that’s a good MONTH for some hitters.
Regardless, this card is still gonna be great and should be just like Finley who is easily my best hitter this year so I’m looking forward to this one.

It will have less contact than finley or should.. I don't think that's how milestone cards will work. A 4 hr game won't necessarily mean he gets a 99 or that he will be maxed power vs both sides. They have to have a base and greene isn't 99 worthy. Even a 4 homer game card isn't.

They messed up according to you.. This card is a realistic version of what he was. I mean he didn't hit any homers off a lefty in his 4 homer game so what do you think would be different? He would have slightly better power and worse speed and worse defense and probably worse vs lefties. This is the best shawn green you could ask for realistically based off his stats. They even gave him better defense than he probably deserved.

It feels like a billion years ago for some reason, but I remember him playing pretty good D out in right (strong arm). Just watched some highlights and his homers that year included a lined oppo shot off Brad Radke and a booming flyball homer off a lefty (Travis Baptist). His steals included a couple off Pudge, so there are some nice performances inside the 30/30 statline, for sure.

Yeah i think he hit like .209 or maybe .220 that year vs lefties irc.. He was never a real good defender but was definately servicable and he was in the second tier superstar list for his time. I like the card and I kind of expect this is what dave justice will look like later today except with better fielding. They are comparable for sure..
