Yeah I agree! I played a couple games on HOF yesterday after being on AS most of this month. Such a big adjustment from one to the other. Its ridiculous RS should all be the same difficulty. HOF FOR ALL!
This will never happen. That would alienate way too many people. I made 974 last season and now I can't make contact on HOF or legend. Pitches look like they are 120. If you sell out for that and swing as soon as it leaves the pitchers hand you look like an idiot. The lag when swinging at pitches is way worse the last week.
If this is happening to me imagine 4-500 rated players trying to hit HOF. There wouldn't be many people playing this game. Has to be something on SDS end. Wonder if there is any correlation with these trash servers. Game getting frustrating this last week. I play to have fun. Ball instantly going from pitcher's hand to glove is not fun. May have to jump back on PUBG. I have tried rebooting router, wired, wireless. Something changed in the last week to make this game miserable. Game is doing the exact same thing it has been doing for 4 years recently. Nice while it lasted.
Well obviously you were only able to get to 974 because of your internet, world series players aren't actually there because of skill, they just have the internet advantage. They don't actually hit any better.

What about just expanding HOF from 600-999… WS starts at 900 still. The Legend players would get up there bc HOF is easy to them. People who enjoy playing on Legend is quite literally 1% or less of the player population. I don’t even think 1% is in WS right now. Most people stop playing once they get there bc they don’t like legend or they tank out to get back to HOF. Feel like that could be the best solution bc right now HOF is too short lived as a difficulty for players that are good but not cracked out their mind. Which is the population I fall into lol @Exotic_Combs_PSN

until they fix contact swings there is no reason to play anything below HOF and this is coming from a online rated and custom league player. Contact swings on AS are absurd!

Precisely why I haven't cared about my record since 17. More fun to drop down to all star and play with different cards than to play on legend/HOF and have zero reaction or recognition time. Lenend/HOF are not fun. Maybe it would be if I move to one of the coast. That seems to be where the majority of goons are. -

As a Cabrera user, I will admit that he is completely unfair. I have yet to let up a run with him in 37.1 innings (4 CGSO), only 6 hits, 0 walks and 54 Ks. His sinker is nearly unhittable on HoF, not quite to Legend but hopefully I am riding on the back of him and Oswalt to WS.
Yea it’s beginning to be no fun going against him and Crochett. My Cabrera in 25 innings has 1.04 ERA with 50ks. Nuts

Bottom line is I want 95 to look the same every time I play. Not like a marble shot out of cannon one week and a beach ball the next. However, I will do what I need to do in order to make the game fun. Game hasn't been fun the last week with warping pitch speeds. I'll either tank back down to all star and try different cards or maybe start a franchise. I'm pretty sure I would hit better with the Royals on legend in Franchise mode than I do with a top tier squad in RS on HOF/Legend. I'll adapt, been doing it for the majority of my DD time.

I got up to 850 this season… trying like hell to either hit 900 or get 40 wins (currently at 31)… but anyone throwing 102 with pinpoint on HOF is a 1-0 2-1 Batting average killer. My team era is 2.25, but so is my batting average now… .225. It’s just not fun. However I did tweak some PCI stuff and had 9 and 11 hits my last 2 game and won handedly. So maybe there is hope next season to get to 900. But I’m on vacation next week so my focus is 9 more wins (don’t even care if I go 9-9, and then chill out on ranked seasons and play more BR, which has been the most fun online aspect for me this year.

AS should remain the same, it’s the casual setting for casuals. Easier runs, easier pitching, the problem is really good players being forced down playing on AS and ruining it, there is no need to rank 1200 players back down that low lmao.
There also needs to be much larger groups in each ranking so the difficulties don’t change as frequently, allow for people to lose more than once before they rank back down and vice versa.
HOF should be AS with a much smaller PCI, no need for speed changes THIS large. Velocity is one part of pitching not everything.
Legend should be something all on its own. Faster pitchers, smaller PCI, but most importantly the “tools” need to change. You shouldn't be able to see how many milliseconds slow your swing was on a pitch 3 seconds ago, or how many centimetres that pitch missed by. MLB players don’t have iPads in there back pocket they pull out 12 times an at bat. Prior to at bats all of that info should be available, not during the current at bat. No labels, no feedback, no PCI, no PP analog walkthrough, no anything. Legend should feel realistic not just insanely fast.

No I play legend online rated from time to time. And last few dd games have been on legend but I can say with certainty the movement and speed is much easier to track and keep up with, respectively, for online rated games even on legend I’m not striking out nearly as much than on hof dd.
I have noticed contact swings on online rated games don’t go for homeruns like they do in Dd although personally I haven’t had luck using contact only but Dd plays differently. Hof online rated is all star dd. -

I don’t have lightning quick reflexes. I have NO DESIRE to put in the kind of time it would take for me to really good on HOF. Screw that!!!
