If you take a day off from playing the Show, (which I highly recommend) it is interesting to notice that the game seems to want you to play in a certain way.

I’m not meaning this as a complaint really, but it is observable. If you just want to casually swing the bat while talking to someone in the room, you’re probably not going to do very well. The game does seem to want you to take pitches, work the count, etc.

I found it odd that even Rookie vs CPU, the CPU pitchers frequently throw first pitch balls.

Obviously if I’m playing the CPU on rookie I don’t care about realism or even needing to pay attention.

Yes, that’s what I’m getting at. I know it is common to say that the problems with the gameplay right now are because the game is catering to less skilled players. That may well be so, but it sure does seem to want you to play sweaty.

The way I see it is at least it’s making people be better at the game, but I couldn’t imagine picking this game up with no prior knowledge of playing a baseball game. Usually the appeal to the newbies rather than scare them off.

Yessir..Noticed that early on , taking a break for a week from 19 before early access. Conquest difficulty ramped up as well.. Those little missions I used to knock out in 1-3 tries for most are tougher also. Input matters as well on hitting, as well as less balls being caught especially by mediocre fielders attributes..Like it though.
