Ranked Seasons

I have seen people who want Ranked to be all one difficulty and I got to say that's a stupid argument.
As you progress through the rankings the difficulty is getting harder and harder and if we have Ranked Seasons put to all one difficulty it does not get harder at all.
What is the difference between World Series and Spring Training if Ranked was one difficulty?
Git gud if you don't like how they do the difficulty in Ranked.

I haven't seen that, I have seen, one pitch speed, with smaller PCI's as you progress through ranked.

I don’t think they need to change anything besides making the difficulties a wider range.
HOF is seen as the best overall difficulty but it’s only from 700-899. That’s such a small window to have the best overall gameplay.
Veteran should not exist in RS.
0-599 - Allstar
600-999 - HOF
1000+ - LegendYeah the top players will be upset they have to play on HOF more but the people who actually enjoy Legend is maybe 1% of the community.

I mean for one it would get harder simply because now you are playing talented players. kinda common sense, no?

I like this breakdown. I actually don't care if 0-300 where losing doesn't hurt your progression is on Vet though. Those games go by so fast its almost immaterial but HOF should definitely extend into the 600s.

I would love to see a universal pitch speed at all difficulty levels both online and off. Just adjust the pci as you go up in difficulty. I enjoy moments and programs. But the back and forth sucks!!

Yeah 0-300 is fine on Veteran. I just think if they pulled the training wheels off earlier, it would improve the skill of everyone much quicker. Plus by the time you hit 700+ you’re generally playing a lot better competition which adds to the frustration of HOF for a lot of people. If you start HOF at 600, you can practice on HOF against a little easier competition. And then as you climb to WS will naturally get harder due to the level of competition you’re playing.

If SDS said to all top players "(censored) you let's put the RS difficulty to All Star" top players would then have to get use to slower pitch speeds when players who play on the All Star level are already familiar with All star pitch speeds. Ranked would just become BR but even more crazy due to god squads.

Yea like @genopolanco_PSN said I truly don’t understand why HOF is only 700-899. It’s a lot of people’s favorite difficulty and where a lot of ppl feel the game plays the most realistic. They need to rework the ranked system next year. People who enjoy legend is quite literally less than 1% of the player base. A lot of ppl that can make WS either stop playing or tank after they get there. Expanding HOF divisions would do wonders for the game. You literally only can enjoy HOF for like 6-7 games before you have to worry about playing on legend.

I would like to choose which difficulty to play ranked seasons. Sometimes Hof plays fine and I can compete but other times, I don’t have time to move my PCI before the ball is past me. Obviously, if you could choose your difficulty, the Hof path for ranked would have better rewards, but they could still offer a lower tier reward for say 40 wins on all star. I just hate hovering in the 600-700 range.

The argument for a universal pitch speed on the surface seems to make sense, but when you dig deeper and realize they'll either alienate either people who love all-star or Hof, it becomes complicated. And while you could argue less people like hall of Fame, most big streamers are on that side, and if they say the game sucks, they can sway thousands of opinions even if those followers would never make it to Hof anyway.
