Got April done in 1 day and now same w/ May.

Were they this easy last year or previous years? I dont play online so maybe the rewards in previous years were for online missions?

Not even close. In 19 and prior, you had to fork over a ton of stubs or get lucky with pack draws.

18's was easy, because they dropped the random Monthly packs in the shop at the end of the year, and all packs were half off. So, you could complete the set without much of an issue. I think by the time it was coming to an end, only September was over 100k, and that one got you Story and Buehler, with Yelich as the final reward.

Last year and this year have been so much better than before. I remember paying about 300,000 stubs to get the lightning Carpenter the year he was a POTM.

I like this year as it rewards those who keep they topps now cards and not sell them back to the market. I’m all for rewarding the grind

Yeah it was 100% a money grab before last year, and I dont think I ever collected one lighting card because of it. Wasnt worth it. Last year they started making it obtainable by just playing, I thought maybe because of the delayed baseball season and Covid, so I feared it would be back to how it use to be this year. But they kept it the same and kudos to them.

And there were a limited number of packs and they were always gone 2 mins after release

Nah but props that they make stuff with only grinding needed. Make sure to throw them $10-20 here and there on stubs to say thank you.

So easy and every youtuber needs to make 25 minute long videos to tell you, "play the game", thank you for that. I can read the missions myself, you really gotta squeeze every ad penny out of us.

I do too. It’s probably my favorite DD card ever. And it would be better than a prime or signature for him.
