This may be the dumbest way I've ever lost a game. I was up 1-0 and dominating with the human glitch FS Garrett Crochet. My opponent ended up with a guy on second and two outs when I struck out his hitter with a change up in the dirt, but my gold shield catcher magically couldn't keep the ball in front of him and he advanced to first to keep the inning going. I intentionally walked the next hitter to get to the pitcher's spot and he pinch hit even though he was dominating with his pitcher. Shouldn't have mattered except for his pinch hitter hit a grand slam on a swing where the inner PCI was COMPLETELY under the ball. Not one single part of the baseball was touching the PCI and somehow this game decides THAT swing is a go-ahead grand slam.

I guess I was stupid when I actually believed SDS when they talked about "competitive" gameplay and user input determining outcome because a few months into the game and that is obviously a lie. I still put the ball in the middle of the PCI for routine fly outs and still hit HRs on swings that have no business being hit hard. But to give up a grand slam on a swing where the ball isn't even touching the PCI has to be the worst I've seen.

It would seem that you are one of many that only get the worse end of the game's mind of its own.

But if the tables were turned and it was you who won the game like that, then it would’ve been a competitive win that you earned fair and square.

Should have known game was over after the past ball. I’ve had so many 9th inning collapses exactly like this it’s mind blowing.
