I'm about to post my next hint.

Mark Melancon, if he continues his pace & Lance Lynn.

Hes talking about Teoscar
Ding ding ding! We have a winner.
I'll explain why I think he's easy money to go diamond in my next post.

His fielding could get a major boost from what he's been doing lately. That throw from Left Field to home plate the other day to get Myles Straw was a thing of beauty. He doesn't get enough credit.

I don't see him going diamond. Personally, I think his BB/SO ratio is too low. That tells me he doesn't have a good eye and swings at bad pitches. He also has a .383 average with balls put in play...that shows he's getting some lucky hits. On top of that, his D/range is average.

Alright, so @Hikes83_PSN and @CoThreat_PSN figured it out. The player I was referring to is Teoscar Hernandez of the Toronto Blue Jays.
The way I see it... he's sitting at an 83 overall as of the last update and yesterday (6/6/2021) showed just how easy he could go diamond as his Inside Edge rating was at 5 stars and through a boost of +11 (or maybe it was 13) to both his contact and power to one side, it brought him all the way up to an 87 overall!
Now, if you look at his current set of attributes here, I'd like to point out two attributes that should see a healthy boost before too long: Contact vs. LHP and Clutch. His numbers versus lefties have been phenomenal as he's got a line of .419/.471/.839 with an OPS of 1.309. I would say that, at the very least, he should see his contact versus LHPs creep into the low-to-mid 80s. So you're probably wondering how viable a boost to Teoscar's Clutch rating would be but I implore you to take a look at his hitting numbers in just the ninth inning this season -- what he is doing is crazy, albeit in a small sample size. He's got five hits, two homeruns in six at-bats in just the ninth inning. He's been the very definition of "clutch." You could also point to his four steals and say that he deserves an upgrade to his 18 Stealing rating, too -- and finally, as someone else mentioned in this topic earlier, he had an incredible defensive play against the Astros and has had a pretty good season out in the field.
Honestly, with the season he was having last year coupled with what he's done to this point, it's tough to argue against Teoscar getting the boost to diamond in the near future. I mean, I remember almost everyone was investing in him towards the end of the 2020 season and he was considered a "lock" until he got hurt and missed some time which, of course, SDS doesn't upgrade players who go on the IL more often than not. And quite frankly, last I checked, he was sitting at 2,000 Stubs (Buy Now) and 1,500 Stubs (Sell Now) -- so we're talking 3.5K per card if it pans out.
Ultimately, it's up to you. But I've been doing this for a long time now, and I've had a lot of success the last three years. I've got 105 copies myself that I picked up for 1,100 Stubs a piece so I've got stake in this one. But mainly, I thought this would be a fun exercise and -- who knows -- maybe it'll help you out and that's all I could ask for.
Thanks guys!

1.) Why would you make people play a guessing game for like 14 hours? My goodness. Give a clue or just tell us.
2.) I am so hungry that I would even be willing to eat my prized trophies.

Hey, you could very well be right!
I just thought this could be a fun little thing and it was for me. To me, though, I thought it was odd to see him going for so low; especially when you look at what Jesse Winker and Kris Bryant are going for and what it would take for them to go diamond (with Winker's hitting ratings nearly maxed out vs. RHPs and Bryant's vs. LHPs).

Well, I did post this pretty late last night and with only two people partaking before I went to bed -- I wanted to see if someone could actually guess who I was referring to.
I don't know, I'm sure someone other than me found it a bit more amusing than your typical "oh great, I'm stuck in ANOTHER freeze-off" or "I can't hit and this game sucks!" topics that this forum is frequently flooded with.

Schnauzer you literally torture people and then keep them in your freezer while Bodam does it physcologically (Im not checking spelling on that). I would think you would be into that kind of thing.

Oh and yes I was ignoring Teoscar

That was Gurriel Jr.

Don't worry I already have plenty of Lance Lynn's saved up. But thanks for the interesting thread anyways

Nice!
I've been stocking up on Jose Abreu a bit more lately, too. I think SDS was a little too quick to downgrade him to gold, as he's back to playing like a diamond-caliber player again.
Another guy I'm intrigued by is Jose Altuve. Obviously, he's coming off a horrible 2020 season and the guy's reputation is basically shot. But he's having an excellent season at the plate so far and -- at least when I've watched him -- has made some spectacular plays in the field (he had two in the same inning yesterday), which is something he hasn't been known for.

If they ever add the trash can stadium sound to the game, Altuve would go diamond in a heartbeat so I don't think that's a bad investment. I heard rumors it might be coming in the 4th Inning program.

i hope he goes diamond soon, i have been stocking up on him for a while now at quicksell value and i remember people wanted him to go diamond last year. he is batting over 300 with about 10 HR's so you never know for next update.
