Lost all progress when linking account. I linked my PlayStation account to my MLB the show account and lost all my progress. Yes I spent a decent amount of money building my team, as I do every year. ALL my progress is gone. All stubs, all collections.

Title longer than post lol

First, submit a ticket works better than a paragraph long all caps thread title. Second, have you tried unlinking your account. i've seen others that have said they had everything show back up by unlinking.
-
Did you try buying more stubs? I hear there is a sell.
Unlink your account bud, that will fix it.
Generally in life, if you do something and it makes the situation worse, undo that thing, and you'll get back to normal.

Does anyone have a surefire way to actually get the linking process to work? I still haven't linked my accounts because if the whole "unlink if you lose your progress" thing doesn't work, I don't want to have to wait until September for SDS to restore my stuff. They still haven't responded to some people who put in tickets during the first week, so I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for a fix.

They've responded to everyone, some folks are just dramatic, or have the communication skills of the OP.
If you open a ticket and say: "Eye Lyncked mi akount one da for ohms nd git me thangs taken way." You can't fault SDS for not having the time or energy to translate. And, if you haven't noticed, there are just a few folks here who struggle with written communication.
You'll be fine to link, I've done it with all of my accounts, on both consoles, no issues.

anyone got the TL;DR??? Book report title.

I get what you're saying since there are a few poorly educated and ill-mannered individuals who post here on a regular basis, but the ticket part just isn't true. I can get my point across pretty well, and I have two unresolved tickets from May 3rd and May 11th for separate issues. Both are a bit beyond the 5 business day estimate.
I know they're swamped and probably haven't gotten to them, but that makes me even more hesitant to potentially screw myself over by trying to link my account when I know they may never actually get around to fixing it.

They are taking about a month still. I had missing players and got them back, but it wasn't quick.

That’s a crock of baloney if I’ve ever seen one. I’ve sent a very respectful yet very detailed ticket about a card disappearing from my inventory with pictures to reinforce my claim on Apr 30th. They haven’t replied.
Stop spewing nonsense you have no clue about

I discuss the results of my multiple resolved tickets. Random salty guy
"That's not true, I haven't waited as long as you yet, and you don't know anything"
LOL LOL
As I stated above (reading man, that's the other half of good communication), it's taking them about a month. Today is May 28th, and the word about means it could take a little more or a little less time. Now that you are in the "about" phase of things, expect a response soon

How about you UNLINK it take a bath a nap get some sun and try again later bud
