I actually thought today's game was reminiscent of a RS game. Everyone in the whole country, pretty much, said they've never seen this in professional baseball before..but it happened.
The thing about this game...freaky incidents like that happen at least every other game. So, yeah to all you folks that say it can happen once in Jim Deshaies lifetime (google him if you don't know). It absolutely can...ONCE.
The most fanboyish statement to make would be "this proves that MLB the Show is top shelf authentic baseball action". You would probably be best off not comparing that anomaly with The Show. It doesn't really resonate the way you think it might.

It’s bad enough as is but The fact there was 2 outs makes that 100% the worst play I’ve ever seen in any sport.
