I thought filling the meter up resulted in more velocity???

I have always heard this and thought this. The more you fill up the meter the faster/harder you throw. But when I fill it the bare minimum I am still throwing that pitchers max speed...... so what does it actually do lol

The speeds will vary more if not max, but it also determines the speed at which pitcher stamina is used up.

Yeah that's what I'm saying though. If I can throw 102mph with Kopech when filling the meter at the minimum, why would I waste stamina to throw the same speed pitch with a full meter

Your not throwing 102 everytime at minimum, i bet you are seeing 99 and 100 whereas max it will be consistant.

It definitely adds 1-3 mph depending on the pitcher, but yeah sometimes you might throw the same speed with or without a full meter. There's usually a bit of variance on any pitch.
